Booked the SUP tour of the Eastern Mangroves via GetYourGuide and was thoroughly impressed. I have never done SUP before, but although there were 2 others on the tour I booked, I was the only person paddle boarding (with the other 2 guests in a kayak) - so I got a 1:1 SUP lesson as well, and was able to stand up and paddle by halfway through the 2hrs tour! Overall, experience was phenomenal - great teaching and incredible views. We also learned a fair bit about the Mangroves National Park and the plants/wildlife there as we paddled through the narrow channels, which was really interesting. 100% recommended!

Can’t recommend enough. We had a fantastic time kayaking through the mangroves. We saw many different types of fish and birds. Guides were very friendly and relaxed. Always happy to take photos for you if you ask. They offer loans of dry bags for your personal belongings. They also offered us free fruit at the end of our excursion. Good value, lot of fun.
We were very tired at the end of the trip while kayaking back to the dock, it was tough to keep up momentum! For that reason I would recommend you be a little bit fit for this activity.
Would also recommend going as early as possible to avoid the heat.

it was simply the best experience ever, me and my husband had an amazing experience.. very nice view in al reem central park..

suggestion: if you could have a crystal clear kayak or boat in future, that will attract more customers or visitors.. we are currently having it in Boracay Philippines and it was really trending..

It's a great experience, the mangroves are a beautiful location to kayak at. Very easy for the beginners as the water is completely still.

The staff gave us a short briefing before we begin. We opted out of taking a guide as we wanted to explore the place on our own. But I wish someone told us that the route is not in a loop and we have to turn back at some point. There are no signs and you are pretty much on your own in the mangroves. At least this was our experience during Ramadan at 6am in the morning.

You can see the marine life staying near the shores and spot birds too.

The kayaks are stable and have backrest. They also give you a bottle of water for the 2 hour trip.

I highly recommend this experience and ask them about Kayaking near Louvre as well.

Brilliant sunset experience. Our guide was great. Took loads of photos for us. We fell into the water at end of tour and my daughter cut her hand. The guides were so supportive and helpful cleaning cut and helping us with a problem with our car, which was way beyond their duty to us.

Our tour guide was kind enough to yank us home since our old age backs prevented us from keeping up pace with the group. Definitely go with the double kayak if your a couple, you will not be able to keep up pace with the doubles if you are in a single and will get really winded. We ended up leaving the group and just chilling by the shore which was nice. The guided tour is more for those looking to go long distance and get a work out. Otherwise far better to just rent the kayak and find a near by beach shore and spend the day chilling. A great day out. Would be nice if the guided tour was far slower paced with more stops along the way so it’s more relaxing and not such a strenuous work out. Would also be great if the tour guide could maybe provide some information on the wildlife etc

Great outdoor adventure. We booked the 2 hour kayaking guided tour.

Our guide was friendly and made sure everyone was happy and had what they needed.

We spotted a lot of birds, crabs, fish and some jellyfish.

We stopped for a swim on our way back.

Water and fruit salad were provided which was refreshing.

Remember to pack dry clothes, a towel, a hat and sunglasses.
