Had a great visit here. Good for kids and us 'oldies' alike. Very good explanations, well sign posted. So nice to see Mary Anning fully credited. And you are dog friendly....a big plus in my book.

Fairly small for what it is but a lot of information everywhere to read. Mainly for children who would enjoy it. It’s definitely not worth £12 per adult in my opinion but suppose they have to make there money somehow

A nice little museum, however it is extortionate to get in for what you get and I felt a bit ripped off. £32 for 2x adults and 1x 4 year old, and no military discount or blue light discount. I'm on a good paid job and still found this expensive for what it was. We only paid as our daughter loves dinosaurs. There is some interesting stuff but it was quite awkward paying, I think the staff think it's too much too! The body language I got was that they felt bad to charge so much. The staff did come across friendly, despite the high price.

Our daughter did enjoy the visit, but the museum is small and we had to look over things 2 or 3 times to try and get our monies worth. A real shame. This museum is a relic of a 90s Dorset Tourist attraction - I remember it being there when I was a child! It could do with perhaps a bigger venue and more artifacts, given Dorset is part of the Jurrasic Coast. Maybe this will happen when "Eden Project 2" at Portland is finally built.

Apart from that, some nice interesting facts, artifacts and nice shop.

It's not worth driving to visit from Weymouth, unless your child is Dinosaur mad like ours.

Great wee museum. Lots of information on a wide range of subtopics. Loved all of the great models of Dinosaurs that were around the museum. Fantastic way to spend an hour or so. Also a great reading corner with topical books to look through if waiting for another person.

We popped by today with out 4 year old son and throughly enjoyed the visit. The museum was well laid out and we enjoyed the dinasour trail we were given by Katherine the staff member. At the end my son recieved a certificate and brought a toy from the lovely stocked gift shop. Highly recommend the trip, great location and nearby car parking.

We visited the museum as my little boy whos 6 is completely obsessed with dinosaurs and has been for many years with extensive knowledge of these times even at his age.

As a family of 4, 2 adults, 1 child and my elderly father we found it to be a bit pricey and wasn't clear if it was very wheelchair accessible to a 2nd floor. Charging £10 for an adult, £5? for a child it was rather expensive. The lady did give us discount for my elderly relative however it still seemed alot of money for the actual size if the museum with limited amount of exhibitions.

We were given a small trial for my little boy to do and was awarded with a certificate once completed which was a nice touch for the dinosaur enthusiasts.

I suppose and suspect there may not be alot of council or public funding and post covid it quite possible hit hard times however lowering the fee or having the price more attractive and affordable for larger groups or families especially taking into consideration the cost of living rising like it is it may work out better long-term for the museum and its future as I suspect holiday makers this summer visiting my indeed be put off paying such alot of money for what it offers will definitely put people off visiting unfortunately.

Offers, discounts on admissions should be considered especially during busier and during school holidays when families often have already been stung paying over the odds on accommodation due to the holidays. Just an idea....

Disabled access not very good at all. Also no spaces to sit, and very steep and narrow stairs. I'm not sure a wheelchair user could go around comfortably.
I personally thought that the dinosaur replicas were very nice and that the sand pit for children to uncover fossils was very engaging.
Overall I think it was a bit overpriced as we got about 1h entertainment out of it.

Really enjoyed our trip to the Dino Museum. Lots of information. Near by car parks. So it's easy to get to. Also the town within walking distance. Lots to do on the day.
