Its difficult for me to give 3 stars. I usually love it or hate it. But here the food was good (4.5 stars) but the service was SO SLOW that Im tempted to give a 1 or 2 star rating. I believe it was the chef's fault from some of the staff interactions. The restaurant and outdoors was less than half filled.
We would get a small tasty delicious dim sum plate and split it between the 6 of us then wait for 10-15 minutes for the next one, and this repeated 12 times or so even after complaints. The amazing food was not so fun when they take forever. They also brought dessert out in the middle of the meal even after we explicitly asked for this not to happen.
The staff was friendly, but the EXTREMELY SLOW SERVICE made this a bad option. I would not recommend this until the service is fixed.
Food review: The shrimp fried dumplings were spectacular. The beef noodle soup was great. On occasion the dumplings were over-steamed, but this is the exception rather than the rule.The BBQ chicken buns could use more chicken, but they were still one of my favorites.

The DimSum brunch is a fantastic choice if you are an Asian/Chinese food lover. This restaurant has won many awards in that category too, and why not, the food, ambience, service and hospitality is definitely worth the recognition!
We loved the deep fried prawn toast appetizer the most and repeated the order twice????
Lobster dim sum , Steamed prawn dim-sums were our favorites too!
The egg fried wasn’t too great independently but it went so well with the stir fried fish and sweet & sour chicken.
The dessert options were very limited, but to be frank, by the time we had all these dishes we really didn’t bother too much about the dessert and just opted for a mango smoothie and ended the brunch, well on a sweet note !!

The soups were terrible, ingredients felt like they were not fresh.
The dim sum was very average.
Noodles tasted like they were from tiny street stall.
Only the sea bass and chicken thighs were good.
Service was good, but could not make up for the terrible food.

The ambiance is wow, gold coloured carpets, wood panelled walls with traditional red lanterns and fans on the wall with Chinese motifs everywhere give it that intimate Chinese dining room feel.
The food is excellent, we were over last week to try their new Shang Supper Club series and were absolutely delighted with the food.
It's a four-course set menu that changes every day, three appetizers, a soup, four mains and a dessert.
We loved the spring rolls, the clay pot beef short ribs and the Hong Kong style chicken.
It's a must-try place, great for special occasions.
