I had a really nice evening at the Hydro. I had a pizza in the lounge before the show, unfortunately they my original one to the wrong people so they had to order a new one and I didn't have time to finish it.
The layout makes it easy to find your seats in the hall, and there was plenty of staff around if we needed help. They still have plenty of sanitising stations too and have increased the ventilation, so you do feel quite safe.
The sound was great, and most of the lighting was too. The taxi queues are always really long so I chose to walk to Paisley road west because it was a nice evening. There are decent public transport links, and good carparks close by.
Looking forward to the next event I have tickets for in January.

Here for the Hollywood Vampires gig.
Great gig.
Hugely expensive alcoholic drinks.
£14.50 for 2 pints Strongbow, £2 deposit on tumbler!!!
Food was just a expensive.
You'll get searched scanned at door, no alcohol to be brought in lol
Good enough seating, it friends in your seating area.

I attended the European Congress of Anesthesiology. The reception on the first day was magnificent and luxurious, in the presence of hundreds of doctors and owners of international companies. After a two day conference, the staff were so cheerful and welcoming. The food was also excellent and delicious. It was a beautiful trip to Glasgow, Scotland, and the weather was mild.

Back at the hydro , first time in 2 yrs. Simple minds were at their very best , must add, the new drummer was amazing .

I attended the Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party conference. Thursday night reception. Thereafter, a 2 day conference. Conference aside, the staff were jolly and welcoming, even though those attending were Tories, not the most popular beast in Scotland. The catering was excellent. VG for mass catering, tasty too. Sometimes the service was stretched, but overall better than most.

Easy to get to by foot or by train
Disabled access
All staff were extremely helpful and friendly and directed me where to go even when I got lost more than once
Multiple entrance points as directed by staff for smooth entry and minimal chaos
Escalators and elevators and stairwells within building
The event hall was large and the seats were comfortable for a 5 hour show
Plenty of bathrooms on all floors to minimise queues
Well lit exits and Location icons
Staff in charge of the technical systems And the changing of the stage were quick and efficient
Plenty of Food and drink kiosks with quick and informative staff though limited food and drink options available
Leaving the busy event was made easy and safe by all the staff even at the nearby train station
Excellent venue and staff

The event was well organised from Exhibition setup to Exhibitor presence. The area was kept clean with a great selection of stands promoting Learning Spaces. Main Contractors, Suppliers and Google were present at this event

Staff were nice. Welcoming. The venue is great for gigs. Although I'm not a fan of seated gigs, we were able to stand up at our seat and dance.
