My only connection with this school is that I am the grandmother of a pupil, however I wish to congratulate Kilsyth Academy for putting "endeavour" right up there with "achievement" in the recent publication of academic results. The acknowledgement of "effort" being shown to be valued in its own right......an achievement even!.....was both insightful and encouraging. PM Allison.

I was one fortunate boy, to attend the Academy in 1957 to 1960 before emigrating to Australia.
The Academy was responsible for my education and outlook in life.
This has stood me in great stead for the last 50 odd years;
never underestimate education,and what it can do for your life.
The schools I have seen and built in Australia, have nowhere the design factors of our Academy.

I was a pupil both of theprimary and high school departments. We measured what we were doing by the teachers. Some were curious, others were oddities, but most were dedicated and challenging. I based my own career ( two headmasterships) on what I learned from them, thank you
