Rented from this location a number of times as we frequently travel back and forth from abroad. Never had any issues - cars are always spot on, service is good and never been left waiting.

Steve who is usually the one who is on the front desk is a credit to Europcar and very helpful - he is genuinely one of the main reasons we have come back to rent from Europcar so many times because of the level of service and efficiency in his work.

Absolutely shockingm incompetent and unreliable. The primary function of this company is to rent cars and they are unable to fulfull that function. A car was booked with plenty of notice (nearly two weeks) while my car was in the garage. They left it to the wire and couldnt provide a car. The staff i spoke to, one in particular was rude and one shouted at me. Telling me i dont know what its like and i know nothing as i dont work in the rental industry. Neither of the staff sounded like they wanted to be there. My advice is to go elsewhere as this branch is clearly incompetent and there are no business continuity planning in place or customer service training.

Had a really smooth experience with them. Rented the car online and went to collect from the store. The car was in a great condition. The return was equally smooth.

Always had good service with this branch, uses them 3 times in space of a year because of my unreliable Merc, they've always gave me decent cars, full tank of fuel and always on time, as well as let me drop the car off at the mercedes dealership instead of there branch, thanks guys ????

I was given a hire car from this , company through my car insurance after my car was written off, it was delivered to my door on time, whilst i had the car the people at europe car middlesborough were more than friendly, helpful & very professional, when the term of rental was over the car was picked up at my home by a pleasant gentleman, qaulity service

The AA provided me this car through an insurance following a crash. I've never felt so much stress in my life than the chew of getting the car collected for return. I was told 9am on tuesday 20th. Rang at 9:15am and was told it would be a 4 hour window and someone would be there by 1pm. I rang again about 2pm and was told I would be put on priority. Someone rang me at 4pm and said they would chase up but it would be collected by 6pm. I rang back at 5:30pm where they told me not that day anymore and offered me the Saturday (Christmas eve!!!). I had to haggle for next day. Very stressful experience which I really didn't need after being shook up still following my first car collision, and not very helpful staff at all. Would not reccomend.

I didn't even use the hire car.

I opted to get car delivered and collected from my home address, car arrived 3 hours later than I had asked for. When it came to collection day, no-one collected the car, phoned to ask what was going on, they said it was still down on the system to be collected and that they would get my local store to call me. Waited and waited, no phone call. Was going on holiday the day after so was out of the area for a week, they tried to collect the car on the Saturday which I have now been charged £42 extra for as they class it as an aborted collection. I’ve now paid for their incompetence, they didn’t phone me to ask if I would be around. The phone call I was promised came the day we were back in the area.

Avoid hiring from this bogus company at all costs.

To add insult to injury I sent an email to the customer services but am yet to receive a reply. I doubt I will either. Fuming !!
