Glencoe Visitor Centre offers a great introduction to the stunning landscape and history of the area. The centre is located in the heart of Glencoe, which is widely regarded as one of Scotland's most breathtaking locations, with stunning mountains and glens that are popular with hikers and nature enthusiasts.

The Visitor Centre provides interesting and informative displays on the history, ecology, and geology of the area, making it an excellent place to learn more about Glencoe and its surroundings. There are also interactive exhibits and audio-visual presentations, making the visit an engaging and enjoyable experience.

In addition to the exhibitions, the centre has a gift shop and a café that serves local food and drinks, making it a great place to relax and enjoy the stunning view of the dramatic landscape.

This is a very well maintained and setup visitors centre, with a video introduction to the area, cafe, beautiful shop (even by National Trust standards), and a small 3D mal of the area with volunteers to also provide helpful walking advice. Out the back there is also a beautiful (accessible) view with a few signs, and if looking for a fairly flat or easy walk, there is a one mile loop that starts from the back of the visitor centre.

Facilities: The toilets are clean, and though the car park costs £4 it is free if you have National Trust.

Lovely gift shop with friendly staff. Some uniques wares that aren't the usual tourist stuff. Well kept toilet facilities considering its remoteness. Beautiful surroundings, of course.

It was cold & raining when we got here but we could imagine how beautiful this place can be on a sunny day, There was a short film on Glencoe which was educational. The exhibits on mountain climbing past & present was interesting. I can appreciate better what goes behind to conserve the primitive nature of the mountains and how the Scotts are proud of their nature.

We enjoyed an hour or so here, watching the film, exploring a bit outside, visiting the sod-wall hut, and looking at the gift shop. The interpretive material mentions the massacre but is largely focused on themes related to the natural beauty and wonder, including conservation efforts. Definitely worth a visit!

Great centre, lots of information about the history of the area, great theatre experience too. Good cafe and local walk. Bit crazy trying to park a MH in with the coaches/tour buses, the drivers were getting frustrated, even though that's there we are all directed to park.

Lovely place with a nice selection of souvenirs, we bought some cute magnets and pins. You can park in the shade and visitors centre is a beautiful building and the view is amazing. Coffee was great also. Worth a stop!

Must stop if you're passing by!! Food was very very good inside and the views are one of a kind!!!
