My mum and I had a smashing time especially the walled garden and the Plant Fair for the extra £1.00. Buy your normal tickets online for the museum and Gardens, it's much cheaper than on the door.

The walled garden was absolutely beautiful, well maintained and plenty of seating areas too, an orchard which we didn't look at.

The museum and grounds were filled with lots of history, ruins, lots of trees and plants, a children's play area, picnic areas, woodland musical instruments, herb garden, summehouse and lovely walks to the canal.

There are two car parks, one outside the museum and the other car park is by the walled garden, but they are far apart. Car parks are free. Those with walking difficulties or wheelchair will find the grounds uneven and there are toilets ONLY located at the main building, the 250 metre walk from the garden to the main building, an easy 10 to 15 minute walk for an able bodied person but a 20 to 25 minute for an elderly or wheelchair person. The toilets were clean and in the ladies toilets, they offered free sanitary products, a very nice touch.

There is a cafe serving hot and cold food and beverages and an ice cream parlour. There are seating indoors and outdoors and also dog friendly. I was told the fruit and vegetables grown on site are used in the cafe. There is a gift shop, all located in the main building, look out for their honey.

Lovely little place with friendly, very knowledgeable staff.
Went into the gardens first where theres a good variety of flowers, fruits, vegetables and herbs. Apparently Norton is well known for its quince plants, and there are quite a lot if them around this garden. Theres some cute tiny garden sheds for the kids to play in and borders with herbs for different ailments, however it could do with more signage so you know what each of the plants are.
Next, went into the priory and museum. This a relatively small space on two levels, upper level with a large room with mostly photos and models, but great views out of the windows over the priory ruins and graves. Downstairs is another room with more actual artifacts as well as the porch to the priory which is obviously used for weddings and functions. The St Christopher statue is huge and if you press the button there is a voiceover and colours projected on to the statue but the room was too bright in the sun so it was impossible to see.
There is a shop and a cafe but this was closed.
I've marked down a star as it is a little expensive for what it is but it is a nice place to visit.

Thank you to Paul and his lovely team for delivering an amazing honey bee workshop for our company!

With a site tour, bees wax workshop and honey bee experience, the team were absolutely blown away by what the staff put together for our engagement day. With rain looming most of the afternoon, the NP team's helpful timekeeping allowed us to conduct all of our activities and get up close and personal with the bees themselves.

We as a whole would like to thank everyone at Norton Priory for putting this together for us, and we look forward to working with yourselves again in the future.

They also offered us croquet on the lawn, around the ruins of the priory itself, and a walk around the walled gardens, which is a must see for any potential visitor. I highly recommend them, and you can always count on the staff to make your experience that much more bespoke, personable and fun!

I grew up close by and this was my first visit since being a child. I was not expecting the experience to be so good!! Very informative and interactive. Excellent mix of outdoor activities (lively woodland, garden and ruins) and indoor learning. Great way to spend 1/2 a day!

Well, what a complete difference. I have always loved this place and haven’t been for about five years. The changes are immense, really well thought out and executed. Loved the whole experience. Love the displayed items. Love the little interactive sections. More excavation going on to the rear (very exciting). The walled gardens were beautiful, so fragrant and pretty. The volunteers were lovely and friendly. Keith was a star and explained a number of fruit trees. Herb garden is growing great. Produce grown is for sale. Freshly picked too. Definitely worth a little stroll around.
Little cafe to have a coffee or cold drink, indoors or outside. Blue light discount applied when buying ticket ( buy one get one free) Happy days Will definitely go back soon

What a gorgeous place! The ruins are absolutely fascinating and the exhibitions enrich the experience with a lot of information and history. The grounds are stunning, plenty of hidden gems to look for in the woods and the gardens are immaculate and beautiful so colourful. The cafe has some lovely food and the staff are nice. I will definitely be coming back because we've had such a nice time there.
