Fantastic trip away with this company great food small but comfortable cabins if traveling overnight

An excellent way to travel. The food on board is delicious, the crew are helpful and friendly and cabins very comfortable.

Joined the line after checkin in the pouring rain for the Ferry from Plymouth to Santander . The people I’ve dealt with so far have been excellent. The facilities are poor however . A small ports cabin type cafe - good coffee and buns but nowhere inside to sit and wait for boarding . So stood in the rain for a couple of hours getting soaked. Come on Brittany Ferries ! Most customers expecting better facilities at the checkin when talking with them. Given the number of motorcycles and drivers generally isn’t some enclosed/ covered area justified. On a safety issue Ride onto the ferry and some floor areas have grip coating . Where the motorcycles are strapped in however was slippy as hell . The guy in front of me nearly went over , and I could feel my feet going . Again a little thought on your customer base would be appreciated . Pont Avent Ferry by the way . 4 berth room very nice .
My review would have been five if not for these fundamental issues .

Quiet ship from plymouth to santander, well organised and very smooth trip. No complaints and excellent night sky plus saw a dozen or so cetaceans

A smooth trip across to France ???????? and back. We had a cabin with a window on the way out. Sadly the door lock was not working, but they quickly found us another cabin to settle in. Beds were clean and comfortable, and the shower ???? was very good. We had breakfast on the way out and a lunch on the way back. The flavour and quality of our meals were very good ????. No problem getting on or off the ferry. A great start and finish to our Holiday. ????

Outstanding customer service. Highly recommended. We travelled with 5 Young adults with autism and got VIP treatment all the way, incredibly caring and understanding.

My wife and I arrived quite early for the ferry to avoid any stress so we were in the terminal building for a couple of hours. The seating was comfortable for a waiting area, the toilets were clean and there was a little café that served basic drinks and snacks. The main letdown was that the gangway is still out of order meaning passengers had to board via the var decks, a bit of a challenge with multiple bags and a toddler in a pram. When arriving back in Plymouth the foot passengers had to wait for a bus to reverse onto the ferry, be loaded onto a bus (a bit of an ordeal as everyone had luggage) to be driven probably less than 100m to the terminal. It would probably have been quicker to walk.

Service was excellent. And their understanding of autistic adults is amazing. Definitely would be coming back on this boat again.
