Lovely olde world inn. Room was excellent size with very comfy bed. Good choices for breakfast. Perfect stop over while visiting family. Would definitely recommend

Have travelled here from Bournemouth, staying the night. Extremely friendly staff, very welcoming place , and dinner was delicious. We are looking forward to breakfast in the morning!! Would recommend here definitely

Stopped for a meal without booking but made welcome despite the staff being very busy. Great surroundings good for families . Food was excellent and well priced. Will definitely visit again.

It is an absolutely charming place to stay if visiting the local area. The room was a very good size (room 16) but could have done with a refresh, but I am nitpicking. The bar and the food is superb and the staff are friendly and could not have provided better service.

Note: A taxi to Plymouth during the day was £22 and in the evening was £35 and I would advise you to book well in advance as there seems to be a shortage of them!

We were a party of 9 ladies, out for an evening of good food and company. Our welcome was warm and friendly, and the menu they presented was varied and very tempting. Whilst I admit to being a bit of a “foodie”, I am always satisfied if the food I’m given is genuinely prepared and cooked on the premises, by someone with a passion for what they do. This place has all my desires…in spades. The food was absolutely fantastic. Full of flavour, imagination, and fresh local ingredients. My scallops with pasta and bisque sauce was delicious, and I admit to having “food envy” with much of what was served to our table. I was so impressed by the food that I wanted to “shake the hand” of the chef, and to my delight, he came out to see us. If you want superior food, in a lovely setting…..look no further. This is a wonderful place to eat.

I booked a last minute dinner reservation a couple of months and was absolutely delighted with the excellent service and food. I would highly recommend the crooked inn. Bu, suspect it will be extremely busy this summer so book well in advance.

Excellent all round. Run by helpful friendly staff. Nice food. Clean, comfy rooms. Great atmosphere. Welcoming locals. 5 stars all round.

Went to eat for Sunday lunch and it didn't disappoint!
Great value for money, mussel starters were super fresh and well seasoned. Mezze platter served 3!
Roast was plentiful, loads of fresh veg (not frozen) and a great selection of dessert although didn't experience these due to being adequately full from the Roast
Lovely location, can imagine it's fantastic in the Summer just for drinks and or food
Got a fabulous table next to a roaring open fire on our visit which was perfect ????
