We loved the food here. Everything was really well prepared, simple, unfussy, but full of fresh flavours. The atmosphere was calm, relaxed, and our hosts were extremely welcoming. Would strongly recommend.

Kit and Monique were very accommodating for our group out for a special evening meal. Excellent communication to make sure everything was taken care of prior to our visit. The venue is wonderful, staff so accommodating and the meal was fabulous, everyone had such good time. Definitely recommend this little gem!

We booked a meal for two. We experienced great organic food and very good company during our evening with Kit and Monique. We would not hesitate to recommend this place to dine and would also consider booking to stay when we are next in Devon.

Lovely pies on pie night. I'll be back to try the rest of their menu on nights that are not purely pie-focused.

Had a wonderful 3 nights here, breakfast was fantastic, food and drink in the bar was also great. Room really cosy and bed comfortable. Monique and Kit are really lovely hosts and very welcoming.

Beautiful decor, fabulous food, excellent service. Just moved into the village so this is our new local, already booked for next week! We are very lucky

10 of us staying locally went for Sunday lunch. The food was really nice with more of everything if we wanted it (which we took full advantage of). Nothing was too much trouble. Thoroughly recommended ????

This is our favourite place! Not just because the welcome is warm and the staff and owners are friendly.
The food is delicious and they really do take a personal interest in making sure you have an enjoyable meal. We have eaten here with friends and family who are both vegan and vegetarian. They care to know, and will go out of their way to cater for you. I love there fact that they grow their own where possible.
