Room with a view to see the tides coming in and out!!! The room smells so sweet and the beds feel like waiting to give you a good night sleep. Both the host were welcoming and we shared a bit of conversation about our planned trip around Scotland. Definitely, a great place to stay.

Such a great place to stay. The owners are so sweet and very attentive to detail. Everything in the room was beautiful and clean. Honestly the best place we've stayed in our journey through Scotland so far.

Amazing place!!! It was a nice quiet hotel off the main road opposite a Loch.

The room I stayed in was very clean and tidy. The linen and towels were fresh, and the carpets and furniture looked brand new. The ensuite had a nice hot, powerful shower with complimentary soaps and shower gels.

The room itself had a comfy bed, flat screen TV, WiFi, and USB charging points for all my needs. There was also a kettle in my room with complimentary coffee and tea etc.

It was a short distance to the shops and restaurants where I went for my evening meals and not too far from the Ferry.

All the staff were very friendly, polite and helpful.

The breakfast was top-notch, offering continental and fully cooked breakfast with teas and coffee's and toast. The view of the Loch from the dining hall was amazing.

It was extremely good value for money and in my opinion this place is a little hidden gem. I would highly recommend it, and I will definitely be staying again when I'm next up that way ????????

A gem of a place..newly refurbished rooms they have been done to a high standard. Great breakfast too. Pity no evening meals.

The Johnstones could not have been more helpful, they pointed me to all the local landmarks and attractions, the room was clean and fresh with hot water and well heated. I enjoyed my stay.

Sheila and Bruce were able to accommodate me last minute when my ferry was cancelled, and I could not have been happier with the decision. This was the most comfortable bed I stayed in for my entire 12 day trip to Scotland, and the breakfast was very tasty. I would visit again!
