Wonderful location. Excellent food. Staff very helpful and friendly, interior rustic and gives off 70's vibes, very nostalgic for all those who remember country pubs back then. Do you do jamming nights ! Will be back ????

Wonderful little piece of tranquility in an already tranquil county. Just take a little detour and pop in for a drink. If the sun is shining you'll thank me.
Can't comment on the food, but when I have I'll update. It sounds lovely and is all homemade.
Highly recommend.

We took the family and had a lovely meal. The service was great, the food delicious, the chocolate orange cheesecake was amazing. Will definitely be back. We didn't stop overnight but I imagine it would be fabulous. Lovely rural setting

Very rural
Fantastic views from the garden looking across the valley.
The food was absolutely delicious we went to the Stables Inn twice whilst staying just up the road (2 miles away) in Hemford for a week .
Dog friendly as well
Phone for opening hours as they do vary day to day

It's a bit on the small side and everyone is sitting on top of each other. The Sunday lunch is OK. The beef was really good but the potatoes and cauliflower cheese were very disappointing. The coffee arrived without sugar or a spoon. I heard another diner say "I will get my own knife and fork shall I". The Prosecco was nice.

This wonderful inn became my local last summer when I stayed in Shropshire for three weeks. What a place! The food is astoundingly good, the views from the back garden of the Stiperstones are picture perfect, and the women who run the place are just lovely. It's about as rustic as it gets inside, and seems to be a genuine community hub. I enjoyed drinking with the locals, who -- staff and clientele alike -- were welcoming and obliging to this American far from home. I would come back to Shropshire just to eat and drink here again!

(Note: I didn't stay at the property, so my review is as a diner/drinker. Though I'm sure it's a lovely place to bed down, too!)

Lovely meal! Home made steak pie, and the dessert toffee crisp cheesecake and cream, delicious!

The best roast dinner going! We went as a surprise for my Fiancée on her Birthday, and it was gorgeous. Homely food, great selection of drinks, and a warm and friendly environment. Thank you Natalie, Bronwyn and team.
