Wonderful food, wonderful service! The building is beautiful, a former monastery is now a hotel and pub. Many original features oozing atmosphere. The staff were super efficient and friendly. Food was amazing, and very reasonably priced.

By far the best food I’ve ever eaten. The staff were wonderful and the area is absolutely stunning. The food was just the right amount and well worth every penny. I’m unbelievably fussy, and didn’t have anything left on my plate. We’re over an hour away, and I’d travel back just for their food. If you’re looking for the best veg, chips and views - this is 100% the place for you. Plus, they have a cat and sheep which made it 10x better.

Staff excellent, food first class , definitely recommend, can't comment on rooms as we did not stay, the lamb was absolutely delicious ????

A wonderful place with loads of atmosphere and character.
The staff is friendly and professional.
I warmly recommend a stop and a meal there.

Food excellent- service great shame but expensive. Realise u get what u pay for- but sometimes I get fed up of being ripped off !! Just becos it’s a hotel why charge so much. ?
