Highly recommended. An absolute delight, well presented exhibits, interesting and friendly staff. A fitting memorial to RAF Biggin Hill and everyone connected to it.

Recommend a visit to this recently revamped and fantastic museum. The displays cover the entire history of the one of the most famous fighter bases. Take your time and enjoy refreshments on the Nightingale Cafe. Great to see the Canadian Spitfire Pilots of 411 Squadron with their own display in the 80th anniversary year of them being based at Biggin.

Great stories being told, glad I made it, a wonderful site built specially dedicated to the memories of those that served here. The Chapel and garden is very peaceful. There is a virtual simulator you can have a go on that is included in the price which is very reasonable. I managed a victory roll as well. Note the museum is all new and built for the purpose. There are great first hand stories from pilots and ground crew plus original footage projected on the table. Great cafe with indoor and outdoor seating.

Really interesting little museum, lots of information about the local history of what was an important RAF base in WW2. Be sure to visit the chapel too.

Wonderful museum. When we went there were some stalls and events going on which really brought it to life (2021-12-11). The cafe was exquisite and there was a man called Paul there doing the parking who gave such a friendly welcome! Really recommend!

Edit (2022-09-29): I came back here more recently, around a year later, to see the D-Day Darlings perform and had another wonderful day. We went to the cafe before hand for lunch (which was excellent!) and there was Paul again! After the lunch he told us all about the Merlin engine, the airport and what it's used for now, previous hangers and other historical details. What a knowledgeable man! They're updating some of their displays and exhibitions at the moment, so well worth another visit if you've been before.

Edit (2023-03-14) returned here as they have changed many of their displays and added a really immersive air raid shelter section with an actual metal shelter and a panoramic projected informational video. Was very impressed with the new stuff, well worth a return visit if you haven't been here in recent months. We had lunch in the cafe again and the food was absolutely lovely with really generous portions. I had the "dam buster" - look at the pictures I've attached for the detail of the planes and bomb giving it a really special themed touch. Even the coffee had a plane on top in the froth.

This is a wonderful museum, the staff are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. I absolutely loved my time there and will visit again soon. Please be aware though that for a museum it is very small. If you want to know more about the Battle of Britain it is certainly worth a visit, especially as every inch has been made good use of, but please ask the staff and make use of their knowledge to get the most out of your time there. The beauty and tranquility of the Memorial Chapel will stay with you.

Really nice place to visit Take daytrip. Has lovely friendly cafe. Seating outside child friendly. If your kids luv planes perfect. Museum here too all worth day out. Surrounding area are lovely ,local villages and not too far from Bromley Shopping Centre. So plenty to do if your travelling from far and don't want stay in the city . Can have picnic. Keston Ponds also local too fishing lake and woodland walk. They also do Air Show once year which is spectacular to watch.

Visited this museum on a Saturday afternoon, it was very quiet but still plenty of staff/volunteers around who were very friendly and welcoming. The flying VR experience is good fun and quite challenging! A very interesting, informative, and moving set of exhibitions - worth a visit and affordable at £6.50 each if you are in the area.
