Wish I could give one star, unhelpful, unfriendly. There are some wonderful doctors, but some are derogatory and treat you less then human, which was the care I received when I was last there, moved to a much better practice. Dr Alex Rawlings was absolutely horrendous and as leaving his office very upset, told me after telling me I could leave that, if I felt like doing something to myself to call Samaritans. No words can describe how that man treat me. But he doesn't even deserve the 1 star.

Everyone I have seen at the surgery, both for myself and with my daughter have been brilliant. My daughter has been quite poorly and I have never been made to feel that I am causing a problem when asking for advice. Everyone has been kind, considerate and very helpful. The doctors have gone out of their way to reassure me and to get the right treatments and investigations for us. Thank you so much.

Categorically the worst medical practice that I’ve had to deal with. Every three months they mess up my prescription scripts, specifying only half the meds that I need. They have completely broken my vaccination records, and every time I need a letter, they get my name wrong. Just incompetent and uncaring.

I don't normally leave reviews but thought I should as, speaking from my own experience, some of the comments seem unfair. I was slightly concerned about this being my new surgery after reading some of the negative comments but my own interactions with the surgery have been nothing but positive so far. I had to wait quite a long time for an initial phone consultation (although that seems to be the case everywhere) but the reception staff were friendly and all of the follow-up was then quick. Both of the doctors I've interacted with have been attentive, empathic and understanding. I didn't feel rushed so was able to discuss my circumstances thoroughly and most importantly, I felt listened to.

New to the surgery but very happy with my experience here today. Called up at lunch time, got a call back from a doctor within half an hour and booked in for an appointment later that afternoon. All of the staff were very friendly and organized too!

not sure about all the negative reviews as i have had nothing but a positive experience at this practice! i have been a member for around 3 years and it is only from a year ago that i have used it regularly. due to covid my health anxiety got really bad and every time i have been the nurses/gps have always taken there time to listen to me and give me a once over to assure me that i am ok. even when i have an issue that i do need sorting it has always been fast and efficient- even getting same day appointments to see a nurse or gp. i recently had blood tests and they came back within 2 days. and i would also like to hilight the fact that the reception staff are always kind and welcoming when answering the phone, which can be hard to come by!

Consistently excellent service over many years. Whole team are caring, responsive and appear to be well integrated with wider health care services. Always feel the doctors create time to listen and ask probing questions. I very much like the way they are bringing junior doctors through. Thank you!

Clearly the practice have suffered as a result of the lack of funding to the NHS as phone lines are often very busy. However, the quality of care you recieve has always been fantastic. I have been a patient here for 5 years, as well as all 3 of my children. In the past 3 weeks, I have phoned the surgery twice at the end of the day needing medical advice. Each time I have been treated respectfully and efficiently by the reception staff and have been seen by a doctor within an hour or had a telephone appointment within minutes. I think the doctors and nurses to a brilliant job- they are kind, thorough and patient and clearly care about their patients. Clearly all medical staff are under a lot of pressure with the amount of patients they are required to look after and I think that given the circumstances, they are doing a fantastic job. Thank you CarterKnowle and Dore team for everything you do!
