Worth the walk along the coastal path from Porthleven. Path gets overgrown in places but you can push through. Stunning backdrop at the mine by the ocean. Can explore the buildings, care needed if children go as the usual cliffs and hazards.

Best to park your car at the car park above Rinsey Cove. Then walk south towards Porthleven. Beautiful scenery, landscapes.

Beautiful set of engine houses on a gentle easy going coastal path with access to the shore.

This is a stunningly beautiful piece of coastline to visit with wide open vistas of both the Lizard and Lands End headlands.

The whole expanse takes in views of Mousehole, Newlyn, Penzance, Rinsey Head, Porthleven, Loe Bar , Poldue and of course The Lizard.

The South West Coastal Path can be followed all the way through from Lands End to The Lizard for those who are intrepid enough to take up the challenge.

Wildlife includes kestrals, peregrines and buzzards that enjoy the updrafts and thermals that race upward from the cliff faces and of course seagulls, and other wild birds of all species.

The Coastal Path is rugged and can be very hard going and requires one to be physically fit, disabled access is not available here.

There is a small and very busy car park here at Rinsey Head that is at present free of charge (Watch this space). To access the small cove here is quite a strenuous business and involves a steep and hard climb back to the Car Park.

But, when all's said and done, it remains a beautiful piece of Cornwall.
