First time. Excellent facilities. Very good wheelchair accessibility. Plenty of parking to side and rear (fairly narrow access to parking area) Great sound system

Great venue for live music. I attended the Big Day Out 8th October 2022. 12 live acts throughout the day. Bar staff , sound guy, security all excellent. The car park is not huge and could be a problem, however many people traveled in by bus from Barnsley hotels. Buses running back into Barnsley at 11.50pm was fantastic ! £4.50 return.
The venue was very good, with TV screens showing the stage if it was a really busy event. Tables and chairs down one side , could possibly have benefitted from more seating. Great that there was a separate bar area with seating if you wanted to chat without disturbing people listening to music. Chatting while a band is on is disrespectful and spoils it for those who paid to listen to the band ! So having another warm, indoor area was a bonus. There are tables and chairs outside too, with catering van or picnic area present . Great place !

Large free car park, very spacious with a small amount of seating down the sides, otherwise all standing.
There's also a decent bar.
Not too far from the M1, so handy to get to, all in all a good venue.

What a gem of a place. Looks a tad shabby from the roadside but brightens up when you go round the corner to the entrance. Nicely done out in the main bar with plenty of comfortable seating. Concert hall of a good size. Was all seating (with tables) when I attended so top marks again. I can imagine it being very busy at times but the bar was cordoned to make a one way system which is always a bonus. Decent selection of beers and spirits at reasonable prices. All the staff were friendly and well mannered. Large, very clean urinals but requires a new privacy latch on the one wc cubicle. Looking forward to seeing many more gigs there.

Great venue, great atmosphere, the sound is spot on and good beer at a good price. What's not to like! Who though is that axe hero on the wall? No-one knew!

A great venue. Purchased tickets to see Vicky Jackson-Pink Tribute. Staff were great and gave us a wristband on entry when we presented our tickets. The queue for the bar was organised. Security were good. There was even a food bar outside the premises, but didn't purchase food ourselves. ...and of course Vicky was excellent. It was such a good night!!

This place is a hidden gem! Great 'salt of the earth' type regulars in the pub, with all the sports available on the TV and pool/snooker available too.
The stage next door hosts regular bands and events with its own well stocked bar.
Great place, well worth a visit if you're passing, unfortunately there's no real ale on tap but there is bottled beers in the fridge.
