Cockington village car park is in an excellent, central location for visiting the village attractions or the Drum Inn. Payment by cash or card only. Toilets appear to be seasonal opening only.

Beautiful thatched cottages set just outside Torquay, well worth a visit. A few craft shops and a thatched pub called the Drum. Car park you will find as you drive in, which is a pay and display, and not to expensive. This is a place I would not recommend to walk too, as most of it is along a single road covered with trees, and no footpath.

A chocolate box image of a village. Popular with visitors to Torquay in the summer. Great for walks and plenty of shops selling locally made crafts / gifts. Particularly good food and drink can be found at the Drum Inn.

Die Hinfahrt auf dem sehr schmalen Sträßchen ist schon abenteuerlich gewesen. Waren froh, als wir da waren und das Auto auf dem Parkplatz stand ????
Es ist ein kleines schnuckeliges Dorf, was mich ein wenig an das 'Auenland' erinnert hat. Die wenigen Läden waren bereits geschlossen, weil wir erst am frühen Abend dort waren. Sind dann einfach spazieren gegangen und hatten eine himmlische Ruhe.
Ein sehr idyllischer Ort, den man besuchen sollte, wenn man in der Nähe ist.
