Great experience, James, casey are great company at the bar. It's a quiet village but absolutely brilliant night to stay near cheddar gorge. Coming back again very soon

Hi James

I would just like to say what a wonderful stay with had with you at The Seymour Arms (06/05/2023).

Everything was fabulous.

Rooms were perfect and spotlessly clean, spacious and beds so comfortable.

Just what we needed after our long drive from Liverpool.

We were also made welcome in the bar for the evening, including my young Nephews who with their family were staying in number 4 cottage next to the pub.

Our continental breakfast went down a treat and set us up for the day ahead at our wedding in Coombe Lodge.

Could you pass on our regards to all staff who looked after us during our stay.

Highly recommended

Under new management .

The staff were amazing and very friendly . The food was divine and arrived with great presentation . The choice of ales, cider, wines and spirits were brilliant.

Both managers ( both called James) were lovely and clearly had hand picked brilliant staff as well.

Please ignore any previous negative reviews as these are outdated and incorrect.

Your visit will be amazing and worth while . Whether that's for a meal or just a quick pint .

In terms of location; the pub is situated just off of the Mendip hills and overlooks a beautiful lake ( Blagdon lake ) . It is within walking distance of Combe Lodge ( a popular wedding venue) , so makes for an ideal location to stay.

A combination of Great staff , tasty food and an idyllic location it's definitive 5 stars .

Newly refurbished place. Good food and lovely staff willing to go above and beyond. Will be really successful in months to come. Will definitely be back ???? cheers guys

I’m sure everyone in cheddar is called James like me lol, however incredible night stay and really topped off the weekend with such a friendly and welcoming service

So glad the Seymour has reopened! Fantastic village pub and inn with very friendly new owners. Pizzas were great and there’s so much more to come.

Great choice of pizzas and taste amazing. staff are friendly and provide a good atmosphere! highly recommend and looks forward to future events they have planned!
