The timber roof inside the church appears to be 15th century. There are a handful of features also predating the church like the 12th century font, a 17th century parish chest and a Royal coat of arms above the chancel arch dated to the 18th century. Beside the 19th century stone pulpit is the stone from which the village got its name. It is believed that this stone was used as the measure for a bag of wheat at 20lb, plus 4 for the bag.
There are three species of bat living in the church so it is a little messy at times but nothing too bad.
Across the road is a small gravelled area ideal for parking.
