Had a really lovely 3 course meal for mothers day lovely fresh hot food nice selection and good dessert menu too .quick service and lovely friendly staff we will definitely return.

Decided to go out for some food. Lived in the area for years but never been here. We arrived at about 1pm. The pub does a great Sunday lunch I have been told. Lots of spare tables. The pub had a warm feel and the staff are very friendly. The food was really good. Served on hot plates. I would fully recommend you go here to try the Carvery. It's top notch. Lovely fresh hot food. Service was good. If your passing and pop in, you won't be disappointed. Thanks guys. ????

It was ok for a quick meal not so sure on the well done steak i asked for and no mushrooms as on the menu may not rush back in a hurry

Horrible food, we went on Mother’s Day. The pâté starters were decent but had barely any bread, the soup tasted like blended tinned tomatoes and the fruit was the only good one. The carvery was awful, the potatoes were hard as rocks, the veg tasted like it was tinned/frozen, the meat was dry, the carver didn’t know how to carve meat and we couldn’t even plate our own food, it felt like I was back at school. Some of the desserts were ok but the server was sweating over them, one had a hair in it and when we told someone they only offered a replacement dessert and the rocky road was as solid as an actual road. We spent £300 altogether and the server rolled her eyes when we asked for a glass of water!!! Overall it was a waste of money and time and we will never be coming back.

Amazing food and hospitality. I had a vegetable lasagne and side chips and it was delicious, perfect portion and good prices too. It's family run, and they certainly put their hearts into the food, the service and overall place ???? ☺

Called in on the way home from Hereford. Had cheese burger and chips with bacon. Very tasty with a lovely juicy thick burger. Plenty of chips on the side. Definitely recommend if passing friendly staff and nice clean pub with plenty of parking.

What a disappointment! Booked a table of 10 for Mother’s Day , long wait to be served as only one person taking orders & serving drinks ! Starters ok , carvery horrible , frozen veg , potatoes hard , have seen better presented, tasting puddings in a school canteen ! Rocky road so hard couldn’t even get spoon in to il , resolution was to microwave it ! Ended up wit a mushy mess ! Chocolate brownie had hair in it ! Maybe food servers should wear hair net / hat ! Lady serving at bar was obviously under pressure as when you are spending £300 you don’t expect to have someone roll their eyes at you when you ask for a glass of water ! All
In all it was a horrible experience & one we won’t be repeating ! Complete waste of money !

Never again. Awful frozen / tinned food. No response to foreign object in food, would have thought a manager would have come to speak to us but it was just taken away. Had to queue and have our food served to us like children. Will have to put this one down to experience.!! never to be repeated
