St James' Church is in Great Cheetham Street East, Broughton. It is an active Anglican parish church, the church of England, in the deanery of Salford, the archdeaconry of Salford, and the diocese of Manchester.They have a veru lovely service and also the the Food bank is very good and friendly.

I'm not sure how to send a private message to Amanda Swindelles here sorry, but she might read this. I would like to know more details about the visit to StJames Church , as in what day and time of the visit etc. Just surprised that the church gets a bad review?,. .. . . . ...Also, I'm just a customer at the lunch club and the shop so don't have a deeper connection with the church. I'm also of the opinion that the churchhas issues that could do with improvement too.

Was a choir boy there in 1965, I was 9 years old, Rev Diamond was the vicar, the organ player and teacher was Mr Cushty or something like that, he was really strict.
