"DEVONPORT PARK BANDSTAND"..

An area of open parkland, with tree lined oval paths, the 'bandstand' being central to the park..

A Dramatic Commerative Statue is easily found, evoking rememberance to the fallen in futile wars..

The 'dockyard' can be seen from the seaward side of the 'bandstand', you might even get to see a multi £million navel ship entering the dock area, escorted by armed police..

Also situated near the 'bandstand', a childrens theatre, a park community centre, a takeaway cafe, etc..

A pleasant park area, an ideal place to sit + relax, stroll under the trees, even have a picnic..

With a nearby GWR Rail Station, frequent Plymouth Bus Services, you can also walk through connecting smaller open parks from Plymouth Railway Station..

Can get quite breazy here on a windg day, as the park + 'bandstand' are elevated above the sea estuary..
