Great stop over on our Scotland travels. Pauline and Robbie were great hosts. The rooms were well appointed. The charcuterie boards for dinner and breakfasts were delicious. Q q

My husband and I stayed here for one night with 2 friends. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very comfortable and provided all that we needed (toiletries, tea pot, etc.). The hotel looks newly renovated with cool/modern decor. The thing that all 4 of us are raving about is the breakfast. WOW. We were completely blown away at how incredible the breakfast was! My husband and I are both GF and DF and the kitchen went out if their way to accommodate for our allergies. Our friend has been living Scotland for 10 years and he said it was the best Scottish breakfast he’s ever had. Hats off to the chef!!!

Really enjoyed our overnight stay with friends at boutique hotel Suie Lodge. Pauline & Robbie were very welcoming. Unfortunately they are struggling to get regular staff so they were a bit under pressure but went out of their way to make us feel at home. I loved the general ambience and the decor in the public rooms. We had a room that was not yet ‘transformed’ like the others (hence cheaper) but was perfectly comfortable and quiet. I liked pre ordering breakfast as it reduces waste….. The food was excellent & beautifully presented. Pistachio Dukka on the tomatoes very good indeed!
The hotel is set back from the busy-ish road & garden at back is quiet. Crossing the field opposite takes you to the river. Killin nearby is good for food etc. I would defo be happy to visit again & wish R&P good luck in their venture.

Ignore the google 2 star rating. This should be 4++ stars. Fabulous location for either the Trossachs or a stepping stone to highlands. We stayed in one of newer rooms which are large, comfortable and really well appointed.

Bar area is lovely - very convivial and the food and selection of beers and wine great.

Breakfast was fantastic.

The owners are great hosts and staff cannot do enough to make your stay a good one.

Would thoroughly recommend.

Very basic for a non-budget rate. Pretty tiny room with a (unique) small window. At least upgrade the bathrooms, and get some comfy sofas for the living room as people who drove hours don’t want to relax on wooden chairs. Friendly hosts though.

We spent two nights at Suie Hunting Lodge. The first one was on the top floor and the room was cozy but a bit tight. The second one was on the first floor and the room was gorgeous, with amazing furniture and details. The breakfasts were very good and I even dared having the eggs with the kipper!

Do not be fooled by the exterior, it looks a bit rough. Ignore it and enter the foyer and enter a beautiful, restored old hunting lodge. The quality of the bedrooms and bathrooms are 4 star. The exposef wooden floors in the bar /restaurant add to the character. The best are the owners, Pauline originally from west coast of scotland , holds the fort and provided a great welcome. Her husband has skillfully reformed this old house and the qork continúes. Best Scottish breakfast we have ever had . Ignore the exterior and get it booked.

We had the most amazing stay here! Honestly felt like home and I can't thank the lovely owners enough for looking after us so much. The rooms are gorgeous. They're incredibly stylish, especially the one with the huge roll top bath, it was absolute luxury. Breakfast was amazing and we're so sad we didn't get chance to have dinner here. Will definitely be back very soon and cannot recommend this place enough.
