Very poor service

Today we called into the featherbed without booking the manager was very accommodating. There was a choice of 3 size dinners for the carvery small, medium and large. If you wanted pigs in blankets this was extra. The meat today was Gammon, Turkey and Beef. There was a variety of potatoes and at least 6 other veg. Large Yorkshire pudding and stuffing. I opted for a small plate and recieved 3 sliced of meat and 1 Yorkshire. Choose what veg I wanted and this was plenty for me. The food was lovely however did go cold quickly. It was very nice and we will be back. Staff were very nice and friendly also.

Great experience.
I had organised a table of 15 for a work event. I’d arranged the food beforehand, it all came out quickly and hot. The service was great. All of the staff members were friendly and helpful and there were no issues at all with any of the food.
Lovely atmosphere - will definitely visit again :-)

Food and drinks are amazing good price and very quick service. I had a carvery and my partner had fish and chips and starters too. Also having a cake away X2 for £9

Lovely friendly staff, Janice and Sophie were great, and we loved Janice, she had a lovely bubbly and friendly personality. The food was great value for money. We went for the Tuesday Burger and a drink evening, and it was very tasty. Thanks guys x

We ordered 2 carverys, meat was hot veg not so, roast potatoes dry, gravy was like water too runny. The kids meals were fine. But my husband had the lighter option of a burger which was just 2 burgers plonked on a bit of salad and he said the burgers were slightly undercooked we didn't complain as hardly anyone working. To be honest I don't think we would go back. Shame really it cost £55 including drinks just really disappointing.

Atmosphere was good. Staff brilliant and very busy. A little disappointed with the loaded fries. Which were not actually loaded!!!! For just over £9 I got a bowl of fries with a squirt of sauce and a sprinkle of topping.

Simple to book. A prompt and friendly reception. Comfortable seating in a pleasant ambience. The food was hot and varied and altogether a good value for money meal.

Absolutely brilliant experience. Popped to Shrewsbury for some afternoon shopping. Bite to eat before going home got caught in the rain and walked in soaked! Greeted by lovely friendly staff who bought us over some tissue to dry off, food was superb and the professional friendly service continued throughout. Definitely come back next time we come to Shrewsbury! A++
