Liked: The camping park is well organised. The staff is friendly. The wc and showers were in good condition and generally cleaned.
Location is good for stonehenge and salisbury.
There is a nice lake.

Disliked: Softplay was only open for a few hours, watersplash and golf course were closed while we were there and seemed to be a bit run down.
There is a train station/ track close by and during the night you can hear noise from the train honking. So not it was not a peaceful night!

Liked: Beautiful well kept grounds. The lakes and walks were lovely. Excellent play opportunities if you have children. Cafe is a welcome addition if you require additional catering. Customer service is good and any concerns attended to in a timely manner.

Disliked: Not a dislike but I would have preferred more privacy i.e. a hedged pitch and Wi-Fi available across he site.

Liked: Level pitch with plenty of allotted space for us. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice cafe.

Disliked: Noise of horn blowing from passing trains from early hours. Two toilets for 20 pitches is not adequate, which resulted in toilet rolls running out and shower floors getting very dirty. It was not noticeable when or if the blocks were cleaned despite the notice advising the facilities were closed at a specific time - they weren’t.

Liked: This was such a beautiful weekend away. Everything was perfect and as you would expect. The treehouse was very clean and comfortable and absolutely perfect location, all the facilities were very very clean and well maintained. The staff were very accommodating and generally lovely people. I cannot recommend this place any more. And will definitely come again. Thankyou so much for a lovely experience.

Disliked: Nothing at all.

Liked: Peaceful campsite, good location and excellent facilities. Shower block was warm and regularly cleaned. Options of indoor and outdoor play area for kids and bonus of dog walking field!
Cafe was also lovely

Disliked: Not a dislike but maybe some recommendations to improve;
Tap in camping field could do with a nozzle to direct the water
Hot water hand washing at chemical waste disposal area
Bands for day visitors to distinguish between camping residents

Liked: The site was as described, clean and tidy, staff on hand when needed. Looked great for warmer months especially for younger children.
Great for visiting local attractions like Longleat and Wookey Hole.
Toilets and shower blocks very clean and noticed that they even had a baby bath and changing units.

Disliked: Please note not the site owners fault, we love dogs and mostly owner are great but unfortunately we had someone directly opposite us who didn’t care and let his dog poo anywhere without cleaning up.
Maybe signs would be a good idea to try and deter this.

Liked: We booked Fairwood Lakes at the last minute for a single night trip to Bath but the campsite turned out to be really nice, and we'd definitely come back for a longer stay. The pitches were good, plenty of space, and the toilet/shower block was good. We didn't get to try the café but it looked good, overlooking a nice play area.

We weren't there for long, so didn't need the Wi-Fi or any of the other facilities.

Disliked: Nothing

Honestly, it's the best place I've been

Fairwood is an extremely peaceful and beautiful place to stay.

The staff are lovely and willing to help you out.

The cafe food is great and priced as you would expect.

The lakes are clean and well kept.
The lodges exceed expectations, clean, well sized, and not overpriced.
The tree houses are perfect for a couple and priced well.
The pitches' side of the park are far enough away from each other so that you have privacy, and the best part is the facilities (toilets, shower, waste and water) are clean and about a 30 second walk apart.
We had no problem showering, and the water stayed hot.

The fishing side is great also with a small angling shop on site, of which everything was well priced.

I will continue to visit fairwood lakes holiday park as much as possible and the majority of the negative reviews are from people who DONT understand how real life works and that sometimes unfortunately things go wrong or are missed...

Just contact staff on site and be kind and kindness will be given back.
