Was very happy to see Dr Nixon today, she made me feel like she will get me on the right track to seeing what’s been a 5 year nightmare with my skin condition I’m currently suffering. Finally found a doctor that will put me for some intolerance testing and updated me on my blood tests from my last doctors surgery which never bothered contacting e after they were done or telling me what I was being tested for… very happy so far and got an appointment the same day when I suffered all night with burning skin. Unfortunately doesn’t seem a clear fix but have a plan in place to see if we can get to the bottom of it. Thank you Dr Nixon and lovely girls on reception who called me about my complaint I want to make in regards my previous healthcare and lack of treatment received by the immunologist at RVI.

After researching various GP practices in the area, I’m very happy that I chose to join this surgery. The staff have been fantastic, from booking appointments swiftly to gaining medical advice. Friends have also recommended this surgery due to having similar experiences over the years. Highly recommend, a very thorough team.

Very good no problems born in this practice 72 years ago my kids both delivered at home by doctor chalk. He WAS A brilliant doctor the best we now have another brilliant doctor in doctor BODLE good staff as well

Doctor Bolel - Best GP in Gateshead. He is 'old school', listens, really listens, and takes the time to help in any way he can. When other GP's 'clock watch' and ensure that they never exceed their scheduled 10 minute quota', Doctor Bolel puts you first, whilst also trying not to keep his other patient's waiting. He is a true gem within the NHS. Excellent, supportive staff. Finally, after seven years of living in this area (two previous GP surgeries who did nothing to help me); I became a patient at Second Street Surgery and it is the best move I have made.
