Fabulous food excellent portions of such tender chicken. Very attentive staff excellent service. Very good prices ????

Food excellent. Service excellent. Birthday group in who had far too much to drink. They were extremely loud but staff did not intervene. Our night was spoiled because of it. Staff do not have very good customer service as a couple complained and were not in my opinion treated very well. Would go back but would leave if there was another rowdy crowd.

Had a wee overnight stay at pitlochry, went on for lunch menu 2 course £11.95 food was lovely, chicken tikka starter, korma + rice, nan on the side, veg pakora chicken bhuna + rice was just enough portion size for lunch, staff were lovely attentive but not over bearing

Worst food I had ever tried from an Indian restaurant. Basically, it's not an Indian restaurant and not the Indian taste as well. We ordered prawns and chicken biryani along with tandoori chicken. I would say tandoori chicken was OK but the main course... uuff.. I don't know how they made that taste. All the customers were Scottish people, and on my experience, they don't get the real ethnic taste of an Indian cuisine. The service was good so I'm giving 5 stars.

So happy that i found that place. Clean, cozy, friendly staff (Zako is great). I had a bad experience with a few tastings exploring the Indian food, too spicy for an European taste, but in Prince of India restaurant they gave me an advice what to order and it was just perfect ☺️ contactless payment (i suppose that cash is also an option). First but for sure not a last visit. Highly recommended!

Food pretty average.Asked for a twenty minutes gap between starter and main, no problem but the main then came out only just luke warm.
Atmosphere completely spoilt by two coach loads of people, presumably known to the owners who used the restaurant as a waiting room until there coaches left .Continually coming in and out of the restaurant, kids walking round the restaurant staring at customers.What was that all about.Prince of India,get a grip.
Nice Shami kebab starter though.
Nah,not again.Shame.

We ordered poppadoms & relish, these came a few minutes before our starters.
We needed to ask for the main meals to be delayed. I ordered a Dansak hoping for a tasty with a bit of heat as from the description. The only warmth was the actual temperature of the food the rest was nice though

When restaurants can be busy to the point that you have to book in advance, and all you want is good food in quiet surrounds, then consider the Prince of India. Their lunchtime 2-course fixed menu is £9.95 with about 5-6 dishes for each of the starters and main courses. Between the three of us, we each tried different dishes. They had vegetarian options that were delish. We were all delighted. Tables are well spread apart re COVID and distancing. The service was great: friendly and attentive. I’ll be back.
