Liked: Lovely pub, absolutely gorgeous food, I’m really good prices. Really nice people, they even brought out a doggy meal for my dog! And live music on the Friday, which was great. Great facilities., lovely shower which was very clean.

Disliked: Nothing really, I suppose it was slightly noisy on the main road, but, but definitely not stop me from stay in there again.

Liked: Stayed here overnight, amenities were awesome, clean and tidy.

Grounds were mowed but could have had the cuttings picked up.

Awesome sized sites.

Pitches are located beside the road which can be noisy at times, though didn't keep us awake.

There is a train track with regular trains running along one end of the field (again didn't keep us awake).

Other than those two little things, tis a fabulous place to stay.

We didn't take advantage of the meals or the pub, but the carvers looked and smelt delicious.

The pub and beer garden were well maintained and lovely and clean.

Definite plan on staying here again when we have more time and can enjoy the pub and mealas.

Disliked: Road noise & the train (though in fairness we pitches in the last pitch (our choice) which was the closest pitch to the train line).

Liked: What a superb venue. Pub is brilliant, hosts are really friendly and can’t do enough to make you feel welcome. Clean facilities. Live music in the pub on Fridays and the food is excellent .

Disliked: The campsite is near the road so there is a bit of traffic noise at times

Carvery was absolutely phenomenal, we drove past on a whim and fell in love with the place, the staff, particularly Laura and the 2 managers were completely accommodating. My son got mud all over his face and they let me use the shower to wash him down, facilities were perfectly clean. We booked for a glamping pod on the day as we were so impressed with the staff, the service, the beautiful location and all this place has to offer. Thank you guys for a wonderful experience. ????

Liked: Nice spot for a one night stopover. Really nice pub with friendly owners and staff.
Basic but clean shower and toilets
I stayed on a Sunday night and unfortunately for us the pub closes early on a Sunday

Disliked: Nothing to dislike, but could do with one or two hooks in shower to hang clothes

Liked: Nothing

Disliked: Lot’s of road noise , no hot water in the toilet, no outside door on toilet / shower room. No where to hang clothes whilst showering. No hose tap connection, for Motorhome water filling, difficult exit view on to the main road .

Liked: We like the location of this site as it right next to main access road to mid Wales. All hardstanding pitches and as a bonus none of this x number of £ per night electricity included which I think is a rip off. Here you get a price for non-electric and one with electric, which I feel is much fairer. The owners are lovely people and all the staff we interacted with were very helpful and friendly. The town of Welshpool is just a couple of miles away, where you will find all the shops you need for a short or even a longer stay. A bus stops right outside the campsite in both directions. Finally, this campsite is in the grounds of a good pub with excellent food, you couldn't ask for more.

Disliked: Toilet & shower quite basic, but kept clean so not so bad.

Liked: Nice quiet site next to a lovely pub. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Food was delicious.

Disliked: Light in toilet didn't stay on
