Samosa is ok, qty is good and received Fast.
Cheese Pastrey received burned after more than 20 mins waiting. I expected better than this. Specially after he forced me to get 2 pieces. Because he said he don’t give 1 piece only.
Parking available.

Great pub to have a pint and grab some lunch. We had the haddock and chips, fish cakes, roast chicken and roast beef and it was all very enjoyable. Also managed to get a table on the balcony which provided a lovely view!

superb Sunday lunch. staff really friendly and found us a table. Food really top notch, so much so was tempted to have dessert....sticky toffee pudding to die for. good thing we can go walk it off on the beach! great atmosphere and a roaring fire. Will definitely be back.

We sat upstairs and admired the lovely sea view. Thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday roast. Friendly welcome, attentive staff despite being very busy upstairs. Very pleasex with our visit, will be back.

Sunday lunch was great 2 beef dinners plenty of meat and fresh vegetables lovely roast potatoes and a great yourksher pudding. Sticky toffee pudding and cheese cake for desert partner said Sticky toffee pudding was lovely my cheese cake was also very good. warm welcome on arrival waitress who served us was polite and friendly very nice place for Sunday lunch

First class. Hospitality at its best.
The initial welcome was great, immediately recognised from when I’d popped in earlier to make the reservation. Even though we were nearly an hour early we were shown straight to our table upstairs. Bowls of water and dog treats for our two dogs appeared almost immediately.
Our waitress was fantastic, knowledgeable about the menu, friendly, efficient engaging, patient (especially with my mother in law who has Alzheimer’s) and polite.
The menu was good, traditional English pub food done well with good quality ingredients. I had ham hock terrine with piccalilli and sourdough, beef and ox cheek pie and a really good cheeseboard.
The Youngs beer was well kept, the wine list relatively short but well balanced and well priced.
The space, decor and views of the sea were all beautiful.
Not cheap but very good value, I highly recommend.

Had an amazing meal and lovely time at the Grove in Exmouth! A couple of doors up from where we were staying for the weekend so an ideal location and the staff were all so friendly and helpful, particularly Sophy who served us on the night!! Lovely beachfront setting and a really nice atmosphere. Food was reasonably priced for beachfront restaurant but certainly lived up to the cost! Would definitely recommend and definitely go again! All in all, great experience!!

Friendly service, good food. Spent a bit more than the average pub but worth it to escape the crowds as not horribly busy. Great view from the terrace, very nice for drinks on a hot day. Staff super helpful with vegetarian and food intolerances.
