Good assortment of Iranian deserts - fresh and pre-packaged. Great service, staff are so friendly to explain and give tasting samples.

Someone gifted me a box of their small, thin Jalaibees (three types). They were superb. I am writing this review because I dont see them in the photographs under menu - you should...I didnt even know Iranians also had Jalaibees.... and these are better than any I have eaten any South Asian restaurant or sweets shop

On a hot day is is fun to play in the River Lea near the Friends Bridge. From the bridge walk down along either side of the river and find a shady place to cool off.

There I was, just minding my own business, casually walking along until I turned a corner and something magic happened to me. I looked up and can only describe the experience of a similar calibre of when I saw the Golden Gate Bridge for the first time. I took my first steps over the start of the bridge and paused for just a second to take a deep breath and soak in the experience. I then carried on looking around like a dizzy umpire making sure I saw every single detail I could get away with, without upsetting the several dog walkers and cyclists who were unaware they were on this magical journey with me. It’s something I will cherish forever and will recommend to anyone who’s visiting London. I felt safe the entire time and it successfully got me across the water without getting the slightest bit wet. Although if I was a girl that could’ve been a different scenario if you catch my drift... nothing other than 5 stars for this sensational experience! YOU MUST GO!

Excellent name, for an excellent bridge. Great place to lock your bike before going for a cheeky dip, and handy for getting over the other side too! 5 stars - would recommend ????

The high sloping sides of the bridge block the view of the river.
Not sure if it was designed like this to prevent people throwing rubbish in the river Lea, however it spoils any scenic view of the river that would otherwise be available.

Ugly monstrosity that obscures the fairly scenic views. Its only saving grace is to prevent you getting wet traversing from one side of the river to the other.

I came with no friend and didn’t find one on bridge. Would give 1* but bridge was fine.

Friends Bridge is now open again (as of 18 May) after several weeks of repairs and resurfacing.
