Main complaint: Poor and inadequate customer service.

My friend bought me a pair of shoes as a birthday gift, but it turned out that each side had a different size. When I went back to exchange them for the correct one, they told me that I have to go to their MOE branch which had stock. I asked if they can have the item delivered to their store and I can pick it up at a later date (as most shops offer), but that wasn't an option. I went to the MOE branch and was told that according to store policy I can't exchange the shoes because they are considered to have a "manufacturing error", which can only be resolved in the store that the shoes were bought. This policy seemed to be completely forgotten among the staff in the Dubai Mall branch.

The only way to resolve this situation, is to go back to Dubai Mall, request for a refund and then buy the shoes online.

It was very strange to me that each Adidas store functions as a separate entity, and not as a chain store of a massive international brand that would expectedly work in collaboration with all the other branches in the city. Also the staff seem to not have been trained sufficiently and are eager to just do the bare minimum to resolve a slightly complicated retail situation. It amazed (and upset) me that none of the staff seemed to recognize that they had dragged around a paying customer 3 times without any remorse or accountability for their ignorance and try to apologize or appreciate how convoluted this situation was to their customer.

I am very fond of Adidas as a brand, but their customer service offering is extremely disappointing. It seriously needs to be improved. It is situations like these that drives customers to shop online to avoid any customer service interaction, which will ultimately kill the physical retail industry as a whole, not to mention the brand itself too.

Very bad experience. The manager was very curt and unwelcoming. Too much attitude and arrogance. Don't know what was she upset about. Behaved Very unprofessionally. At the same time, was joking and laughing with her colleagues and passing comments. Not going back to that store again.

I went to adidas dubai mall customization section yesterday and I was served by Salman who was very impressive. I rushed there 10 minutes before they close to get a gift and Salman managed to customize it for me and make it super special just in time. The store is lucky to have such a hardworking man who could’ve just apologized for not having enough time to customize anything since they were about to close. Very much appreciated.

The largest adidas shop in uae is open now at dubai mall ground floor,near ice rink.An amazing store with huge collections,sneaker service section,makers lab where you can make your adidas clothing more creative,play area etc etc
.Loved the store.????????

I went to exchange an online purchase and I was directed to the Kids store since they didn’t even check the product. When I explained it was an adult product, they didn’t have availability, and asked to contact the online store for the exchange, which indeed is not an option for online purchases.
Finally I’ll have to return it and pay double shipping fees, in case I would buy again, which I will not.
Bad customer service in both store and online.
