We were looking for a place to eat while visiting the heritage city and museum of illusions, what a nice place to relax and have a meal. The food was great well prepared and came on time. The kids loved it too. We tried the shrimp biriyani, fried calamari, fried squid, lemon and mint juice, and the tomato soups; which we highly recommend. The staff was very attentive and professional. The ambience was matched to suit the heritage city so is a nice experience for those looking to experience culture. Thanks again

????????I came from Japan. Recommended for everyone who likes seafood

The atmosphere is great fun. Seafood soup was delicious.

The paratha was also handmade and was freshly baked and delicious.
I ordered the Mango Rocket Salad and I liked the name. But what the rocket is is unknown. It was delicious as usual.

Food was delicious ????. We had the Biryani Tray and Smoothies. It is worth a visit with beautiful view. Ambience was good and quiet. The heritage look completely justifies the visit. Finally, it is worth your time and money.

Great food and service. Especially the calamari was very crispy. And shrimps and king fish were yum! Fayaz is very kind and even the place closed at 10 and we arrived quite late we were able to enjoy our meal without feeling rushed.

This place has an old town feel and the food was fantastic. If you want a taste of real local food this is the place. Lamb, chicken, as well as the different styles of rice were all great. Even the salads were extraordinarily good. You have to try this place if you are near by. There is also outside seating but I only recommend this at night as it was 110 degrees the day I went.

The food was delicious and very fresh. We ordered the machboos seafood tray and the obligatory Emirati dessert legaimat which was surprisingly not so sweet with the dates syrup. Not forgetting the very fragrant mint tea. Very good indeed. Our waiter Mohamed and his staff were very friendly. Will definitely be back again.

I was attracted by the name of Michelin restaurant.
The interior has a rustic feel, while, out on the terrace, diners can watch the fish stalls float by, underlining the freshness of the seafood on their plate.
The Tandoor with sea bass, baby shark meats, calamari and shrimp with yellow and rice was delicious! The portion was good enough to feed 4 adults. The fish was freshly grilled with moisture.
Saloona chicken was a classic Arabic dish. Love the veggies and sauce.
It was a good dining experience.

Grotty. Small, tight spaces inside an dark, dingy, ugly concrete carbuncle with the stench of pee in every narrow stairway. And now that they have closed off the walkway to the Mercat, there is a long walk to get to the high street with no signs or directions.
Much better off (an probably safer) parking in the Mercat (Union) if it is open or one of the open air council run car parks.
