We are just leaving our third stay here. Sad to go as always, we've stayed here once in a caravan and twice in a tent, have loved it from all aspects. Our kids (4, 11) adore the place...the space to run around, the farm animals (especially the pigs) and the beautiful countryside trail to walk round of an evening. The facilities are great, clean, hot showers, toilets, I personally love the outside (but sheltered) washing up area. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and above all helpful. I had ice blocks for our cooler but they let me borrow more. The warden is lovely, the kids liked him, and again nothing was too much trouble. The shop is not overpriced at all. Got a few essentials while we were there and they certainly didn't break the bank. Check in and out was easy and we cannot wait to come back again.

This was our second time visiting. I came alone this time without my husband which I was nervous about but with my friend in a camper van (myself and my little boys were in a tent). We were given pitches next to each other but unbeknown to us we took 3 ????It was laughed off by the warden who was a lovely man. I decided Thursday night I didn't want to go home on Friday but stay until Saturday so my husband could join us Friday afternoon and share the enjoyment of our children having freedom and fun. I spoke to the warden about staying and he didn't think it would be a problem. An hour later he said I could stay but would need to move to a pitch just across from where we were. I was so overjoyed and my children that dad could come and join us on he Friday afternoon. What made it even more special was the lovely warden rearranged things so that I didn't need to move from my pitch after all and told me he had left enough space so my husband could park next to my tent and my car. I can't thank him enough for the kindness because we made lovely memories, my husband got a lovely surprise by being able to join us and my children were beyond excited. I am planning to book another 5 days in August to celebrate my birthday and am looking to book mum and dad in with their caravan as I know they will love the beautiful site. I can't thank you enough for a wonderful campsite and setting and for the lovely warden who gave us special memories this half term x

We have been staying at this beautiful site for the past few years. The staff and warden are lovely friendly people who never mind helping if you need it. The site is spacious and clean . There is a lovely farm walk which my children love doing on every visit where you can purchase animal feed from the camp shop . Can honestly say we have enjoyed every stay and hope to fit in a few more this year :)

Absolutely stunning location. The grounds are kept beautifully.
The owners and the warden couldn’t be more helpful. We have already booked for next month.
The fact that there’s animals here and a fishing lake, was a huge bonus for us. I saw my first cuckoo aswell!!!

Lovely site in a fabulous location.

We thoroughly enjoyed the animals and a day fishing and painting by the lakes.

Staff were incredibly kind and helpful.

Negatives were the shower facilities, and small pitches.

A play park would be a nice addition.

Lovely lady at shop reception.
Really nice clean from site 4 min walk to bis stop
5 min walk to train station and 7 mins to fisg chip shop
10mins to first pub. The Heron
Lovely farm to walk dogs around.
Plenty of showers and toilets.
Very peaceful site

We love camping, but we don't always have the time or the budget to travel far. That's why we decided to try camping close to home for a change. We wanted to experience a quiet time away from work and home, and enjoy the nature and wildlife around us.

We searched online for some camping grounds near our area, and we found Fairfields Farm Caravan& Camping Park. It had good reviews, reasonable prices, and pitch electricity. We called and got an immediate and friendly response and a fair quote. Having shopped around beforehand we were ready to accept their offer.

We packed our tent, sleeping bags, cooking equipment, and some food and drinks. We also brought our dog Benji, who loves camping as much as we do. He's a well-trained Sheltie who can obey commands and stay close to us.

We drove to the campsite, which was only 10 minutes away from our home. We were greeted by Mark, one of the friendly owners, who showed us our pitch and gave us some information about the facilities and the rules. We set up our tent quickly and easily, and then explored the campsite.

The campsite had everything we needed: a well-stocked shop, a clean ablution block, a laundry room, and a kitchen washup area. We were impressed by how tidy and organized everything was. The campsite also had a lot of animals: chickens, peacocks, guinea fowl, geese, marsh hens, sheep, ponies, donkeys, pigs, and goats. They were fun to watch and interact with.

We especially enjoyed the pond area, where we saw some beautiful birds. As a bird watcher, I was thrilled to record a cuckoo who called every morning and evening. I also spotted over 35 species of birds during our stay.

The campsite was close to Pevensey Castle, which had a rich history and was easy to walk to. We visited the castle and learned about its role in the Norman invasion of 1066. We also saw some Roman ruins and medieval walls.

The only downside of our camping trip was that we had to keep Benji on his leash all of the time including in the tent. The warden, Tony, seemed to be easily offended and threatened to evict us if Benji ran free. We thought that was over the top, at 10 years old Benji is better behaved than many children who visit the Park. However, on site is a dedicated field where Benji could run as much as he liked.

Overall, we had a great time camping close to home. It was relaxing, refreshing, and rewarding. We recommend Fairfields Farm Caravan and Camping Park to anyone who wants to enjoy nature and explore Eastbourne and the surrounding area.

Stayed here at the end of April for 4 nights, really nice site very quite, nice little shop at reception, staff very friendly, and Tony the warden was very helpful. East to get to Eastbourne and Brighton with the train station being 400 yards from the site.
