worst restaurant ever. if you want to get fried up in extreme summer heat with delayed raw food wasting money and time for nothing this is the best option.

Absolutely amazing food- prepared fresh. Mindfully sourced produce. Scones and English breakfast tea are out of this world! Moat definitely will be going back. Super quaint building, family friendly. Staff are a delight.

A classic English tearoom in the Tudor Square of Chilham village. Friendly and fast service and very good cream tea. The owner says that the tearoom was used for filming Emma and Poirot (Chilham itself has also featured in many period telly programmes).

Excellent quality food, very friendly staff, set in a beautiful village square.

Sausage baguette was spot-on. Clearly use quality ingredients.

Our go to tea rooms now.

Stopped here for breakfast before our hole to Canterbury. Breakfast was delicious. Serving are large. The service was amazing. Filled with a bunch of local people who all offered opinions on what to have.
A huge selection of fresh baked cakes. Took a carrot cake for a snack on the wall. Wish we would have taken a second piece. Absolutely divine.
With the trip to Chilham to eat here.

Best scones for miles around. They’re incredible! Delicious sarnies too. A friendly service and a beautiful village location. Quintessential English tea rooms. What more could you want??

Myself And my husband enjoyed a cream tea here today, lovely cosy and quiet little tea room, fair prices and really good food!
The staff team were lovely and made us feel so welcome from the moment we walked in!
Looking forward to coming again!

A cosy spot for a sweet treat or a light meal in picturesque village square. The cream teas are generous, one scone is enough for two people.
