What a great park. A really nice place for a pleasant walk. Dog and child friendly. Two sections for younger and older children to play. A section of water that has pedalos in the summer months. Train rides around the park run in the summer and some weekends in spring. Open areas to play and plenty of paths that twist through the park. The park is situated next to the Pavilion Gardens and the Buxton Opera House. A stream meanders through the park with plenty of Geese, Ducks and pigeons to feed if you wish.

A lovely park, good for a relaxed stroll. There is a boating lake, childrens play areas, a miniature train to ride and the sights of the historic pavilion and bandstand to take in.
There is a kiosk open for coffee and ice creams at the weekend and there are many other nearby café options open all week.

We visit the park most days and enjoy walking around the boating lake, past the fountain and back via the promenade and the bandstand. Lovely to see the magnolias in bloom as the daffodils finish and snowy carpets of daisies starting to appear.

Amazing place went with family and grandkids,train in park ,boats pavillion gardens food beers wines had a great time people friendly everyone had smile and enjoying the day top recommendation from us

Lovely place to visit for a walk picnic and general activities.

Lovely on a summers evening or during the day for ice cream.

I feel so fortunate to have Pavilion Gardens as my local park. It's always a pleasure to walk or to ride my mobility scooter around the various paths. Lots of flowers, shrubs, trees, water and wildlife. There is also a very decent cafe and ide cream parlour, gallery and gift shop.There are well maintained toilets and a soft play area inside as well as a playground in the park. Popular with dog walkers.

A lovely park with a lake, stream, miniature railway, toddler and children's park, cafe, restaurant, theme park rides.

Absolutely gorgeous place to go and visit with the boating lake and the little train that goes round. It’s perfect for family’s with young children.
