Food: incredible.
Came across this restaurant when walking about China cluster and it did not disappoint.

You grab your ingredients whether it be noodles, meat, fish or veg (they all looked pretty fresh), take it to the counter for them to weigh and they'll make it into a one hot-pot serving (or you could also share one between 2-3 people)! ????????
We haven't tasted their type of mala soup so it's very addicting and we just keep coming back.
You also have the option to have skewers ???? which I also love.

Service: It's pretty much self-serve and the only time you have to interact with the staff is when you're paying and getting your food from the counter.
They speak minimal English but it's okay. My partner speaks minimal Chinese so he's at fault too ????

Always wanted to try Chinese, but hesitant due to being Halal & their language problem as mostly in their outlets menu is in Chinese so as their staffs, fortunately here the staff (ladies) speak good english (1urudu speaking guy as well) and realising we being 1st time, they guided us well.....

For 1st time users, my explanation to you...basicallly there are 2item one starter in skewers/stick which they make grilled and other one Hot pot soup (meal)....that's all...

Now both the items are displayed like a buffet (there is no pork here, but still u can recheck with the staff)..you chose what u want in the soup like fish, noodles, spinach etc and give back to them to weight (guess min 22aed/kg) and they prepare with their standard soup and gives back to dine...

The quantity might look less when u pick, but beleive me take less for first time and they will top up the soup whenever u need....(Starter actually in stick/skewer, since we liked to share within us, we asked it to be broken into pieces)....surely recommended to try...

Very nice experience....
You can build your own Hotpot, huge variety of chicken, beef, sea food, noodles and veggies. All combined in to an instant hot soup.... great broth!!!
First timers watch out for the quantity. Do not forget the skewers, brilliant stuff... Squid skewers were my favorite and fish sausage fantastic!!!

It is like buffet, you're the one who will cholse what you want to eat and the price depends on the weight. The price is not that much for the good quality of food and service they provide.

This a gem in international city. Although we dont speak or understand Chinese, staffs were very helpful to choose items. There is a urdu speaking guy helped us as well. Hotpot was awesome ???? variety of tasty grilled foods were available as well. And pricewise its very very reasonable.

Super delicious Malatang. If you are craving for healthy and spicy soup with vegetables this is the best place to visit.

The malatang was so authentic that it tasted exactly the same which as the one I used to eat in China.. The staffs were really kind as well. 还送我们了两瓶水????
