Exploring the vibrant flavors of Authentic Ceylon at Neighborhood Hall in Motor City! Our taste adventure led us to savor their Wood Apple and King Passion Fruit Coconut Juice. The Wood Apple juice captivated us with its tangy, creamy, and sweet profile, resembling a delightful blend of Chico and green apple. As for the King Passion Fruit Coconut Juice, it delighted our palates with its tantalizing combination of flavorful sweetness and sourness. While we solely indulged in the heavenly juices, we couldn't resist trying the other delectable food options available at the hall.

Was good and liked the deviled prawns lot, the marinade was special and also we ordered lamprais which was great, the fish cutlets and rice with chicken was good, the drinks we ordered was cocunut with passion fruit breezer was also nice, staffs are friendly. Overall 4/5

Really authentic Sri Lankans food really loved it reminded me of the time I visited Sri Lanka tried the wood apple juice too.

Excellent place to have Authentic srilankan food. The staff are very friendly and hospitable. Tried lamprice,crab,fish curry n kuttu simply superb ????

I recently got back from Sri-Lanka and miss so much there, especially the amazingly good food. I'm also fighting a silly cold due to the weather change so I have no energy to cook. Someone on a Dubai food Facebook group had recommended Authentic Ceylon in Motor City. I had extras on the side including a potato curry and a rice "kanji". I now have enough food for 2 days.. maybe more. (I was so hungry I took bites from the parippu wade (dhal wade) before taking pics).

Pic 1: A/C Speciality Lamprais. Fried chicken (not chickeny thank God!) Fried egg? Seeni sambol (onion chutneylike side) brinjal sambol (aubergine side), cashew & peas curry, special rice I guess, a fish "cutlet" (the round ball) and there was a side of papadums as well.

Pic 2: Mini Parippu Wade with 2 super flavoursome chutneys/sambol

I hope they can serve breakfast dishes like Kiribati and curry! That was something I fell in love with. (I'd have it for breakfast or dinner!)

Also can you please make Sri-Lankan papadums. These ones are lovely but I guess it's difficult to come by the real ones here.

The food was very tasty. And portions are generous. However the 3 stars is because their service is SUPER SLOW. my daughter ordered burger and fries from another outlet and finished it before my order ever came. Then my daughter ordered a watermelon drink. They forgot about it and after 1/2 hour when I asked for the drink they started making it.
