Thank God there’s a Filipino cafeteria near my place. I’m a lazy cook, so having an option to just order Pinoy dishes for dinner (and deliver ASAP) is something I’ll always be grateful for.

I tried their Kare-Kare, Palabok, Spaghetti, Cheese Puto and Mais con Yelo. So far, all okay. But I do have one suggestion; please put a little more salt. ???? Also, in Palabok, can you put chicharon? Or that’s not possible because of the pork? In that case, please put more sauce then.

Nonetheless, the portions are big – good for two, actually. Suffice to say, they live up to their name – BigBites. Plus, it’s affordable compared to other Pinoy restos.

I’ll always order here, no matter what. Maybe I’d dine-in too one of these days.

This Filipino oriented restaurant is vying to snatch mainly Filipinos crisscrossing this road at Al Nahda. This area can be a battleground or marker plaza where a battery of restaurants fight each other by showcasing menus of their target customers. We can see from the billboards of restaurants what nationality of customers they target. In Big Bite we can see Filipino food seemingly costly.

We just came from this restaurant and ordered chicken inasal. It took 20 mins for our food but when we received it its as if is not freshly cooked. It was not hot at all! They were claiming it was freshly charcoal-cooked but obviously its not. Cos if it is, the inner part of the chicken should have been smoking hot. They were claiming THIS IS THEIR BEST SELLER, but we were really disappointed. We returned the food and the indian owner is denial and is claiming that it is newly cooked. They took the food inside and re-heat it again by FRYING it, since they said they already cleaned the grill. This is unbelievable and so disgusting, after that they managed to return to us the same food we gave them. Without even replacing it with the new one or anything. This should have been reported to municipality but we do not want to waste time and energy as this is a small restaurant. But hoping they should do better and learn from this experience moving forward. The owner did not even apologies its as if he doesnt care. We will never come back to this place. Be careful when ordering THE CHICKEN INASAL.
