We have had a wonderful stay in Osprey. Whilst it sleeps 6 we were a couple and it was truly marvellous. The bed so comfy, bath and shower to die for. We have travelled the world and stayed in amazing places but it is hard to beat the shower here! Views to die for. We brought our Canadian canoe and paddled from the door. We also brought our bikes and there is some great cycling in the area on and off road. The national park have really sorted out great cycling routes and oh not to forget the walking too. All of that aside sitting curled up on the sofa in a lovely warm luxurious chalet with a good book and watching the changing scenery is a must. Having Nick’s restaurant a 2 minute walk away was a real bonus and the food and service are great. We ate lunch and dinner, both excellent. The family who own and look after the site are super friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Would we come back …absolutely and would have no hesitation in recommending to others. Thank you for a truly memorable stay.

My son booked us in for two nights to take advantage of the fantastic trout fishing available on the lake. A "special" birthday treat, that didn't disappoint.
The Lake itself is a wonderful place to be, whether catching fish, or not (we did!)
The accommodation was top notch, and Chris was very friendly, flexible to our needs and welcoming.

PERFECT ❤
Only word to describe our Lochend Chalet break. From the initial call to book our accommodation, to our departure, Victoria, Chris and the team were so friendly and helpful. We stayed in Teal Lodge. A beautifully decorated, fully equipped, spacious 3 bedroom, cosy, home from home.
As you enter Teal and open the inner door the magnificent view of The Lake of Menteith is breathtaking. We were lucky to have amazing dry, sunny weather for February but I personally feel the views here would brilliant in any season.
Also on site is Nick Nairns cook school and restaurant. We didn't have time to dine in restaurant (another great reason to return) but we enjoyed our takeaway Paul's Pizzas.
There are loads of local attractions and activities in surrounding area for all the family. ME, I sat outside on the patio with my coffee and teacake reading my book, enjoying the wildlife, that stunning view. So peaceful.

A lovely place on the edge of the lake. I was in a wooden cabin, which was large, warm and well equipped. It faced the lake, and it was wonderful to watch the view change at different times during the day, as well as be entertained by the resident water fowl and wild birds. The kitchen has everything you could need, the bathroom looked relatively new and there was more than enough storage in the bedrooms.

Its well placed at the edge of the Trossachs and close to Stirling, with lots of things to do around it which should suit all tastes. I would love to go back in the summer so I could visit the ruined abbey on the lake.

The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, with great communication from the moment of booking until leaving.

We stayed at Lochend Chalets for a week mid August to celebrate a big birthday. It delivered on all our expectations and more. It's a beautiful setting, the views from the chalets are stunning. The chalets we rented were very clean, comfortable and well equipped for our stay. Everyone in this family run business is very welcoming and friendly and go to great lengths to make sure you enjoy your stay. Lochend is a very special place. We highly recommend staying here and will definitely return.

Highly recommend a stay at Lochend Chalets!
We have just returned home from a fantastic, peaceful week which was just what we needed.
The chalets are clean, comfortable and fully equipped with everything you need! And the view from the French doors is incredible!
We took our 9 year old son who loved getting close to nature, playing on the rope swing, the giant chess board and the games room (which is full of everything to keep a child entertained).
The staff are so helpful and have so much time for you, it really was an outstanding break.
This was our first of many visits!
Thank you for a really wonderful time ❤

Thank you for hosting us! We enjoyed the beautiful views from our chalet at the lake. The chalet was clean and comfortable. Kitchen very well equipped. Our girls loved the tennis court, playroom and swimming in the lake. Free use of washing machine and dryer just perfect. Everything was very well organised. We definitely will come back!

My husband and I have been going to Lake of Menteith on and off for years. We usually stay in one of the smaller cabins due to it just being the two of us, however we were taking my in-laws for their 50th wedding anniversary so wanted to make it ultra special. We booked the Osprey which lived up to our expectations and way more. The chalet has everything you could possibly need, it is immaculate, ultra comfortable, the views are breathtaking and Chris, Victoria and Topher make the place along with the very tame ducks and swans which you can feed by hand. I’ve travelled all over the world and it still remains one of my very favourite places and always will do. Thanks again for such an amazing trip. Nicola & Colin x
