I ordered a mixed biryani (with lamb, chicken and prawns) though there is nothing wrong with the taste as it is okay for me… nothing special that makes me want to order some more after… the prawns is not what I have imagined as it looks like more of a shrimp than a prawns… the spices that biryani is known for is a bit short… children will appreciate this more I guess. I’d eaten half of the portion… sauce is a bit sweet and nice for those people who is new to the UK Indian curries. Take out service is on the dot.

Chicken Madras with Pilau Rice, Poppadoms and Pickle Tray. It was really great, I have not been back to UK for several years, so to find this place and enjoy that takeaway taste I had missed for so long I was happy.

Bricklane is a memory restaurant from years ago. As a current resident of abu dhabi, I miss a good bricklane dinner specially the butter, korma, bhuna Dishes as well as a peshwari naan. In the occasion I am in dubai I stop by bricklane for a takeout. There food has always been consistently tasty. The owner is very friendly and helpful, . Definitely reccomend

I drove 50 mins each way to collect my order and every bite was worth it. Brick Lane has always been my go-to and I will still order from there despite living so far away.
Thanks guys for another great meal.

Avoid. Tasteless and nothing British Indian about this meal. Have eaten British Indian food all my life and never eaten a Tikka Masala like this - inedible. Phoned the "owner" and wouldn't take on board my comments. Very defensive.Butter Chicken tasted of tomato sauce. Vegetable Daal was gross - stinky vegetables. Chicken Shashlik tasted boiled - tough and didn't have the juicy tandoori flavour. Offered to return the food and discuss with owner with a hope he has the opportunity to taste the slop they sent me but wouldn't allow this and wouldn't entertain further dialogue. Either all the British Indian food I have eaten in the UK throught my life was wrong or this food is wrong. I'll let you work it out.

4 for dinner, as usual.. food came in good time and was really hot. Unfortunately the vindaloo and other dishes had no spicy heat to them... very average and not enjoyable. Such a shame.

Ordered several dishes and each one was as yummy as the next. Roti was soft and reminded me of my mum's! Food was served hot and fresh. The only downside is that portion size is on the small side which questions the price tag.
