When ordering the Neapolitan cake I was expecting each sponge layer to be topped with the same flavor filling but as can be seen in the picture all layers were topped with a thick, super sweet, dense and heavier than the Thor's hammer layer of buttercream which was overpowering everything none of guest could finish their plates.
10/10 for the looks but for taste, giving it 3 just because of the chocolate sponge which was actually good ????

I appreciate the patience and willingness of the staff to accommodate our requests. The delivery person did not act rushed or hurry us, and it is these little details that make Broadway Bakery a superb choice for celebrations. Broadway Bakery ensures that the process is smooth right from the first enquiry to the careful delivery of the cake and goodies.
The staff I spoke to on the phone was patient, polite, and friendly. She was kind enough to confirm the birthday message that I wanted on the cake. She let me know of approximate time of dispatch for delivery and this information helped me keep the Birthday Girl in surprise till we were ready for the birthday party to commence!
Broadway Bakery pays keen attention to detail. The Butterfly’s Lavender Scheme Cake looked breathtakingly elegant. I have attached a photo reference of the cake along with this review. The cake was so beautiful, everyone in the room agreed that it looked beyond incredible.
The beauty of the cake was unparalleled. We had roses decorating the room, and the Broadway Bakery helium balloons were floating beautifully in the air, but the absolute showstopper was the beautifully presented Butterfly’s Lavender Scheme Cake. I can say that the birthday cake looked more lovely in person than the beautiful reference photograph on the Broadway Bakery website.
The cake was delicious, perfectly moist, and very rich. The cake tasted as amazing as it looked. The vanilla cream on top was of quality in taste. The chocolate layers inside the tall cake were rich and very tasty. The depth of richness of the chocolate balanced very nicely with the soft, light, and airy vanilla cream on top. The gorgeous glittery butterflies on the cake were an absolute delight.
Keep up the amazing work. I appreciate your service so much. Thank you, Broadway Bakery team, for making a memorable and beautiful birthday celebration.

By far, one of the best gifts I’ve ever received and the best cupcakes I’ve ever tasted. It’s thick, creamy, and not overtly sweet. And the packaging is simply elegant.
And when I found out I can now order it online via Deliveroo, I ordered myself some just for the heck of it coz’ why not.
Ordering again soon.

However, I was absolutely disappointed at the level of service in delivering the cake. I selected the 5pm-10pm service and made a specific request that the item be delivered closer to 6pm and not 10pm as people work and there’s no way I’d be home before 5pm to receive it. No one acknowledged the note and when the order came through it was at 9:40pm. By that time my kids were already passed out.
Had anyone even addressed that the cake could not be delivered earlier (it’s like they waited to make my delivery the last one), I would have tried to make the earlier option work.There was no communication at all regarding my note until I got an email at 8 to tell me my delivery was going to be delivered between 8-10pm.
I called them to follow up to see if it could be delivered earlier instead of 10pm (even 8:30pm) but they took my number and never got back to me. Then I had to call again to follow up and they said the best they can do is ask the driver to prioritize the delivery if their route permits.
If I ordered this cake (which was NOT cheap) the day before, it would have been partly my fault. But I definitely ordered this cake days in advance so if they had extra orders for today, they should have planned it better and thought to follow up with me.

1) Inadequate customer care prior to the delivery of the cake. Had I not called, there would have been no indication that my order had in fact been confirmed. The confirmation email received looked like spam and lacked any order information.
2) Misleading information provided during the call during which time I was assured I had ordered a 3KG cake good for 24 people. The cake arrived and is hardly 1.5Kg in weight and feeds less than half of 24 people.
3) Abysmal customer care when I called to complain about the cake. If the line disconnects while a customer is clearly unhappy, the least I would expect is a call back to resolve the issue. Not only this, conveniently, none of my follow up calls have been answered.
Overall, a disappointing experience considering this is a birthday gift for a 4 year old child. You’ve ruined our celebration and this will be the last time I will order from your establishment.
