I had a lot of fun at this. I got a baulbasour doll for my nephew. The saleswomen was extremely helpful and guided me through the whole process of making a bear.
The only issue I kinda had was the lack of options. There are bigger build a bear stores out there where you have a larger selection. I'd suggest going to one fo that. But this delivers well too.

This is one of the loveliest spots to do well whatever it is you need within reason. There's a stunning walking/cycling route that regardless of fitness levels is that is not a problem. There are many different spots to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet. Take the children there is a good play park and plenty of space for a kick around or a picnic

A good size carpark, plenty of space for dogs and kids to run around, the kids park is decent and its a good place to pick up the national cycle network (route 465)

Great space for kids, lovely area for walks and quite flat for easy access for wheelchair and pushchair. Cricket, bowls and rugby played here so good parking space too. Rugby club and bowls club open to public ...check times though

Stunning place. Good for walkers, dog walkers, nature lovers and history buffs. £5 to park but if 2 adults want to go into the house it is £8 each but the second one will have the cost of the parking deducted with a token from the car park attendant. The castle is a bit of an uphill trek but we worth it. Castle is free to walk around. I think it was a mile and a quarter from the car park. Take a picnic as there are plenty of places to sit and take in the views. The cafe when we visited was an open window to order food, drinks and lollies. Not as expensive as some places.

The narrow valley bottom means rather difficult access through narrow terraced streets. The cricket ground, rugby pitch and kiddies play area all form a line along the valley bottom with a river winding it's way through them. The park is part of Abertillery's heritage and much valued for what it brings to the town.

Lovely big park which has retained some of its original Victorian features such as the wrought iron gates and gas lamps. There is a bowling green and pavilion, rugby pitch, football pitch and an enclosed playground which has recently had new equipment. There is also a trail with exercise equipment that runs through the park. The River Ebbw flows down through and the Ebbw Fach Trail follows it all the way to Brynmawr. The river is home to a variety of wildlife and I have been lucky enough to see Kingfishers and Heron on my visits. The park and Ebbw Fach Trail are very popular with dog walkers, runners and cyclists but there is a lack of dog waste and litter bins once you get to the end of the football pitch. You won't see another bin until Blaina although since the Covid19 pandemic the Council has been hanging bin bags on fences throughout the park (although still none between the football pitch and Blaina). Dogs are welcome on the main paths but are not allowed on any of the pitches or in the playground. There are some nice parts of the river for them to have a dip during the summer but during periods of heavy rain/winter months it runs very fast and is dangerous. The path through the park is mostly flat until the far end of the football pitch when it starts to get steeper as it heads for Blaina. All in all a pleasant place to spend a few hours.
