It was my first visit to Cafe Barbera in Ibn Batuta branch. Its staffs are pleasant, and they served me with a smile. I appreciate it well. I was craving for pasta, that is something creamy and that would fill my frantic stomach. So I got alfredo Tagliatelle and a decaf cappuccino.

When it was served, I was surprised because the portion was small for the 35 aed price tag. Nonetheless, the flavor was enjoyable. It was rich, creamy, and flavorful. However, the pasta noodles were cut into less or one inch long and nearly done which i didn't enjoy much. i prefer long pasta noodles especially if i was tagliatelle.

Because the portion was smaller than expected, they could have provided garlic bread on the side, but they do not give complimentary bread. hence i feel like 35 aed price tag was a bit expensive for the pasta alone.

However, my overall experience was nice, thanks in part to their accommodating staff. they offer gelato, sweets and cakes. if u enjoy sweets and coffee i highly recommend this mini restaurant in Ibn Batuta mall. If u crave for pasta, you can also try them. perhaps my preference is different from urs. ????????

Went here yesterday and ordered an overpriced chocolate pastry. It tasted extremely bland and stale and on the fourth bite we noticed there was a significant amount of mold all over the pastry. We promptly got our money back but this should definitely be highlighted as the display pastries seem to be very old and stale and not stored correctly.

We did a take away of the Raspberry cheese cake, their lotus pastry and their Tiramisu. Unfortunately none of them had any wow factor. The staff are pretty friendly tho.

Claim as Italian coffee..however coffee tasted has nothing special and expresso is made of Brasilian beans that is from very dark roast delivery a very bitter beverage. Some may like but i dont..just cheap coffee burnt and extracted from a good looking machine thats a pity. On ice-cream side i did not find the Gelato touch experienced in Italy and other Gelato shop of Dubai. You ll notice a very bright glazing on the ice cream presenter box reflecting use of lots of sugar (more that the average)
No Tiramisu..just tiramisu cake.

Really nice experience, Food is pretty decent and seemingly superior quality compared to other commercial cafés. The staff is really amiable, especially Athul who's been really proactive in all my visits & remembers my order preferences. Definitely recommend to try their Gelato Ice creams & pancakes

Misleading !!! In picture showing Ice-cream Sundae with Fresh Fruits with many fruits but what we received is completely different and bad taste, lame excuse given by attendant. Extremely disappointed and would never recommend. Other shop are much better in products.

The search for coffee got me here! Just checked out this cute Italian cafe while shopping at Ibn Batuta. I ordered a cappuccino, a muffin and the Chef's Special, Fredducino Choco. The cappuccino was quite strong and aromatic while the muffin was served hot. Their signature frappe Fredducino Choco is a must try. Neither too sweet nor excess chocolatey. Every sip is sure to cool your gut down!
