They greeted me warmly and swiftly placed me at a comfy table.
Every mouthful demonstrated the restaurant's dedication to procuring fresh and authentic ingredients.

This attention to detail and dedication to customer satisfaction elevates the eating experience even more.
Its authentic Indian flavours, pleasant ambiance, and outstanding service. The carefully constructed dishes displayed the chefs' culinary expertise as well as the high quality of the products used.

For a true flavour, I highly recommend participating in their fantastic products.

Even though the food is average in taste no changes in price hike.. earlier it was 12 dhs per meal .. and in covid times they increased to 15.75 Dhs..

The Fish fry (Mackarel_ayala 1 piece) which is not even fresh... was smelling like Dry fish they charging it 20 Dhs.

I had a wonderful experience at Calicut Notebook Restaurant. The food was delicious and authentic, with a variety of dishes to suit every taste. The service was friendly and attentive, and the ambience was cozy and inviting. I especially enjoyed the Beef fry, which was crispy and spicy, and the Kerala porotta, which was soft and flaky. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves Kerala cuisine or wants to try something new.

We love calicut notebook for its amazing service and affordable menu. The Appam and the mango fish curry is something you cannot miss so damn good. Beef fry to chicken dishes are really good… we go for mostly fish curries its just very good here????

Good taste in food items.

The only unfortunate expierence is the way the food is offered to the guests. The gravies overspill the bowl and ambience could do with a little upgrade as tables are very close by.

Would not recommend visiting during peak hours as the place is overcrowded.

I ordered a Nadan Chicken Curry Full with LESS OIL...
Have a look at those pics, there was only oil in the curry, in the plastic cover and after removing quarter or half curry look at the amount of oil used for a Curry Ordered with Less Oil...
Why Does The Owner of Calicut Notebook ever need ENEMIES if he has staffs like this... I pity him... Consuming The curry was suicidal, so I had to dispose it...

This place is massive. Set on the 1st level of the Lulu hypermarket it's a family friendly diner with average pricing. Their beef fry with porotha tasted yum. The Appam was good but the mutton stew had too much fat on the meat, not sure if its Indian mutton.

Have tried the food here previously but the meals I had yesterday was superb.
I had the veg meals which came with the usual rice & curries, sambar aviyal etc. But I loved that they served soya (cooked in Kerala beef style) for the vegetarians, we don't feel left out when the others around us are eating non veg ???????? absolutely quick & impressive service too.
