I joined this school in year 7 in 2019.

I received a lot of bullying because I was the only bulgarian guy there.

I am still in this school, I am currently in year 10.

this school reduced my will to live by 150%. please, DONT PICK THIS GOD FORSAKEN SCHOOL. You'd thank me later.

I’m so thankful I didn’t join my child in this school.
Everything was a red flag to me since the beginning.
Initially when I had wanted to apply I was in touch with the admissions team.

She took me through the process and asked me to upload all the documents online as well as send it to her by email.
I did the needful.
She then said she was on holiday and then again asked us to send to her after few days, that which we did again.

My child does need a bit of learning support but that didn’t stop her from doing well in her current school, and she doesn’t have any behavioural problems and nothing major otherwise, yes she special needs but on the milder spectrum, and all the reports were sent by email and posted online. From letters from school and doctors and therapists none of them even acknowledged she had anything as such, everything was posted on the school admission page as well as sent by email.

So when we spoke on the phone this morning, Ms Elizabeth Varghese opened our file with the registered number and asked us to come in and pay the admission fees and said that there is no waiting list, and this is for grade 1. I explained my child will need an LSA and she said we have the inclusion team and a the teacher that can provide that support, I also asked her if I needed to bring any extra documents in hand and she said everything is posted and can be seen online… there was nothing needed except payment, so we went to the school Immediately ( fasting) and we met her, she was clueless that we spoke and hour ago and when I reminded her she said oh yes for grade 1 and opened our file again and goes yes for grade 1 .. alright okay and then “ oh your child is special needs - No No, I’m so sorry but our inclusion team is full .. we don’t have capacity
I asked her but over the phone you had told there is no waiting list and explained about inclusive teams and she partially seems to ignore and kept saying yes that is for normal kids but not with special needs. And she said even if you are put on waiting list i highly doubt the placement.
Oh lady ! We are thankful we didn’t proceed… with such dirty close minded staff

Not only did she waste our time and energy but I think she was sleeping over the phone call .. and to repeatedly call my child a special needs was rude and unkind. This is not how a faculty speaks to parents - unprofessional and pathetic with weak English and mindset herself. I despise such people. The kindness and mindfulness my child has even such basic manners this lady doesn’t. shame on you!
This school lost a good student and didn’t even give the opportunity to have her come in.

Cambridge will lose the reputation if they have such unprofessional staff with no basic knowledge and manners
Please put faculty that are awake during phone calls and not dreaming and know how to speak in person with “class”.

I will also get in touch with ministry of education and affairs and mention this lady.

We have found the school to be really good. The teachers and amenities in the school seem to be well trained as its part of the gems group of education the quality of education is very impressive.

Amazing school to be in. Its key focus area Academics, student's well-being, Student's future, Student's voice. All teachers work earnestly and diligently towards making the school an ideal place , its like a second home for many.

Amazing school. They do so much to look after the welfare of the students. The teachers are very warm and understanding. Will do whatever it takes for them to help the child do better at school. They also have an amazing school counsellor who is always available for any parent or student. Would 10/10 recommend!

My son joining from September until now i had good experience. Assessment test was with parents what i loved . And easy registration. Now im putting 5 star . Then maybe i can change my mind

Studying in CIS Dubai is a great experience for my child. It has impacted him in a greater way. He developed lot of 21st century skills such as critical thinking, analyzing, evaluating, problem solving skills. He experienced many diverse culture and enjoyed coming to school . Teachers are very friendly , knowledgeable, multi- skilled and they keep healthy relationship with us
