Approached them for AC failure. Evaporator leakage was detected. Initially they tried a product to fix the leak and gas was refilled. They didn't' charge anything during all these process. However since the leakage was not minor, I could run only for another month. One fine day, the gas was exhausted again. This time, they suggested evaporator replacement which would take a couple of days to get fixed. They had multiple options to get the job done. They delivered my car even before the promised date. The quality of work is commendable. The staffs were also cooperative. Surprisingly, despite doing a maintenance which involve a total removal of the dashboard, there were no major stains or marks inside the cabin or outside. Overall the team is highly recommended.

FixMyCarAc: Resolving AC Issues and Preventing Costly Repairs!

After my car's AC stopped working on my BMW X6m 2017, I visited multiple garages. They suggested a costly special gas refill of 2k to 3k and potential leak repairs costing 8k to 15k. Skeptical, I sought a mobile AC gas refill service and found FixMyCarAc. They assured me that normal gas would work and provided a more affordable solution. They promptly came to my home, refilled the AC gas, and resolved the issue. However, a few weeks later, the AC stopped working again, indicating a serious problem. I returned to the garages and was told it was likely a gas leak caused by using the wrong AC gas. Angry and concerned about expensive repairs, I contacted FixMyCarAc. They were supportive and asked me to bring the car in for inspection. They assured me that the issue wasn't related to the gas they used. They quickly identified and fixed the leak, offering an affordable stop leak solution.
Several months have passed, and I'm pleased to report that my AC is still in perfect working condition. I attribute this success to the expertise and honesty of FixMyCarAc. It's quite rare to find such exceptional service these days. They truly deserve a 5-star rating.

This review is for FixMyCarAC which operate out of Car Focus - Tried to get my AC fixed and in the end it did not get fixed. Reuben was very difficult to deal with. Guy likes to argue. Said he found a fix that would save me cost of replacing the compressor, fix didn't work, wanted to charge for the fix that didn't work (even though he previously said he wouldn't charge) and charge me extra for the replacing the compressor. In the end I just paid for the compressor part (actually I did pay for the labour as he double charged me the first time round, but I let it slide as long as my AC was fixed). Lo and behold in less than 5 months, my 'new' compressor was found to be leaky (by Kia) and AC was blowing hot air.

FixMyCarAC were hesitant to admit there was a leak, wanted to take it apart, remove the compressor, try replace the O-ring, blah blah blah. In the end, I didn't want to risk leaving my car with them again.

Another reason to keep away - after he 'fixed' my AC I found mice droppings and grease stains in my car. Had to do a deep clean of the car - it was not cheap.

If you want to take a punt with this company, get into a good shouting match with Reuben, and not get your AC fixed, then please be my guest.
