I visited this CARREFOUR near Saudi German Hospital on June 26, 2023, while I was at Saudi German Hospital. During my visit, I inadvertently forgot to pay for a cigarette I had taken. As I was leaving, a security guard approached me within 50 meters of the facility and asked for the bill. I immediately showed him the bill, but he pointed out that I had taken the cigarette without paying. I apologized and acknowledged that it was a mistake. I offered to pay for the cigarette, but they informed me that they will CHARGE ME FOR THE CIGARETTE WOULD NOT GIVE IT TO ME AS A PENALTY for stealing. I reiterated my apologies, explaining that I had forgotten about it due to my unsettled mood after leaving the hospital. I also suggested that they should have scanned the item before handing it to me.

Despite my attempts to resolve the issue, they insisted on their decision. Feeling reluctant to argue further, I accepted their decision, but I couldn't help but feel disappointed by such unprofessional behavior from an organization of this magnitude. They scanned my Emirates ID and mobile number, and I left the premises.

It is disheartening to witness this kind of business conduct in Dubai, a country renowned for its traditions and manners that we hold dear. I have been a loyal shopper at Carrefour for the past three years.

I am unsure if this message will be acknowledged, but I feel compelled to share my experience to make you aware of the negative corporate culture present in Dubai and specially this establishment.

Two days ago I made an order and it was not delivered to me. I ask for a get my money back for this order. Now I have received a message that the status of this order has changed and it is considered delivered. What does it mean? The order has not been delivered yet.

Although the prices are a bit high for some stuff but it has lots of options with great quality.

Ordered something around an hour and a half ago. I gave them NINE missed calls, 1 voicemail and multiple WhatsApp messages to which NO ONE replied. When the delivery eventually came the delivery man refused to give me the person in charge of this services name. Why have a service that you cannot operate correctly? This is not the first time that this has happened and this just proves how rude and ignorant the staff running this can be. One of the worst home delivery services I’ve ever received and some of the rudest staff going as far as to tell me ‘oh’ as if they forgot about my order and couldn’t even think to maintain a level of basic professionalism. Simple questions like ‘when will I receive my order?’ Were completely ignored. Couldn’t even apologise. I would never want to use this service again, however, I am stuck due to the point system. Severely disappointed. The worst service I have received.

This store has been recently upgraded and extended. It is very good now and you can easy do your weekly shopping. It has a fresh fish and meat counter. A large range of fresh fruit and veg. Has a nuts and dried fruit section too. There is also hot food and fresh sush counters at the other side. Very good indeed.

I’ll give a 3 star review just because you guys are low on staff! When I need to find a product that is hard to locate, no one is on the shop floor. Please try to hire more staff if possible. Otherwise all in all it’s my local supermarket and I can’t complain. Oh and it’s cheaper than Spinneys next door

Has all the basic needs and cannot be compared to the big stores like in IBN or MOE. But for a local one it does its work.
