Oh my gosh! I stayed there for 5 nights and it was perfect. The place was so clean. The interior was well designed and the view- oh the view was marvelous. It's right next to the free beach!!! Taxis stop outside and it gets cleaned every day. The best selection of people stay their. It really is a hidden gem. Kudos to Mona and Samir.

Wonderful and super clean place to stay in Dubai Marina with a beautiful view on Palm Island, Marina Harbor and Burj Khalifa in the distance. Location is perfect with supermarkets / restaurants around and the tram / metro very close. I felt at home right from the start.

First, the location is great. There is a supermarket in the same building, the tram is a block away, and the the marina and beach clubs are a short walk away. Second, the apartment is big and there are plenty of places to work. Many people who stay there are working remotely, so the environment isn’t loud and rowdy. Next, the place is clean as someone comes every day to clean. Last, the host is amazing! She is friendly, kind, and attentive. She was able to organize tours and was so kind to arrange a yacht for my birthday and we partied with the other guests. The vibes and people are chill and I’m looking forward to staying here again.

This was possibly the worst stay I've had. Ever. If you want to enjoy your trip to Dubai, please avoid this place. The host, Mona, does not care for cleanliness and the well-being of her customers.
I found ants in my bed, and in the drawers of the dresser. After bringing this up with Mona, she simply laughed and said they are guests too. Only after pestering for hours about the problem did she drop off a form of bug spray to my room.
I have had to throw away all the clothes I travelled with and my suitcase upon returning. I'm disgusted and traumatized. I feel things crawling over me as I sleep. If you love your peace of mind and sanity, please avoid this place. Thank you.

I have been a world traveller for years & stayed in hostels all over the world- I know what I am talking about & never left a bad review in my life! I have new videos from other guests & the place is still crawling with bedbugs. I only stayed another night because I was told my bites came from other insects, that my room would be cleaned AND I had already paid for it. It's hilarious you can say it's a fake review when the photos added are obviously of your place. I asked for a refund as I needed a place to sleep, but I had no sleep - so legally I have the right to request it, but instead of doing the right thing, you continue to call me a liar and not care about my ordeal about being bitten so badly. This is very bad for your business!

The first night, I was itchy all night & with bites all over. I told Sam the next day & showed him my bites. The 2nd night I didn't sleep either as I was getting bitten all over my body. I then checked my mattress & found bedbugs, which proved I was right. The hostel managers say I am lying as I asked for a refund. I am a 42 year old professional woman & I am not that desperate for money! I asked as I don't see why I would pay for 2 sleepless nights, then bites all over me…then the next hostel were worried that I’d take those bedbugs there. I thought I should be compensated for paying to get everything I own washed & dried. Instead - I was dismissed & they told other guests I am a liar. I came straight from my own clean flat so they cannot blame the infestation on me. The girl who was sleeping in the bunk above me and I found even more bugs around the room - alive - when killed with blood inside. We also found lots of small cockroaches in the cupboards & fridge too. I am embarrassed to observe such rudeness from a business like this and fully expect others to go through the same trauma as I have.

If you’re looking for a place to stay, take my advice and don’t book here. It is dirty, unhygienic, and the host completely lacks professionalism and hospitality. I had an extended stay for a few weeks so I was able to make note of things that a person would miss if they had only stayed a few days. I had such a nightmare of stay and I will explain.

First, the place has a SEVERE black mold problem. For those of you that don’t know, black mold has to be PROFESSIONALLY removed and can lead to SEVERE and adverse health effects. After about 2-3 weeks into my stay, I noticed that I began to feel sick and had a chronic cough that would not go away. Other guests started feel these “cold” like symptoms as well so we all got COVID tests but they were negative. The symptoms didn’t go away for another few weeks so, again, we all got tested. It turns out it wasn’t from COVID but from exposure to BLACK MOLD!!! The host, Mona, had been aware of the issue for weeks after other guests complained then left but her only response was that it “was not a big deal” because she would rather save some money than prioritize the health of guests. No one could leave at the risk of losing the money they paid upfront as the host has a strict no-refund policy even for legitimate reasons so beware before booking. The mold covered all the vents including in the bedroom, kitchens, and bathrooms so we were inhaling it directly.

As if the black mold was not bad enough, the facilities are disgusting. The entire apartment had a nauseating musty scent that permeates the entire place due to the mold and the bathroom is also full of mold but has a ceiling that is swollen, yellowed, and leaks on your head as if it is about to cave in. The bathroom has no ventilation so it is absolutely DRENCHED after a shower. I don’t mean damp, I mean that there are entire pools of dirty water on the ground and the host, despite numerous complaints, refuses to fix it. You can see my attached video for more.

Additionally, something I noticed towards the end of my stay is that the host will charge each person different prices based on how much money they look like they have and where they are from. I guess she just assumed that the guests did not communicate with one another but, for the same month, she would charge the Asian women 4000 AED, the American women 4300 AED, and a woman from Brazil who frequently wore designer clothing 5000 AED. She would charge the men 3200 AED. For the same month, she would charge different people different prices and nothing was ever in writing either as this is an unlicensed illegitimate and unregulated business. Everything is at her will (the host, Mona) and if you tried to challenge her she would throw a tantrum.

If all of this was not enough to warn you of booking, understand this. Many many times throughout my stay, it was common practice for Mona to OVERBOOK the hostel. When you book, you rent a bed space. Mona, I guess as an attempt to make more money, would oftentimes accept more reservations than there were bed spaces available meaning that guests who had been staying longer would oftentimes have to sleep on the couch or the balcony without question because she had allowed someone else to sleep in their bed. No, seriously. I walked in the hostel one night to find a different woman who I had never seen before sleeping in my bed and, upon questioning Mona as to how this could be when I reserved my bed months in advance, she told me to sleep on the couch (with NO privacy) and that if I had problem with it to just leave her hostel with no refund. When I told her I had a right to the bed space I paid for, she screamed in my face, “you have no rights in my hostel!” repetitively until I dropped the subject.

This was the worst stay I could have ever booked and the host makes her money issues your problem and you do not get what you pay for. In fact, according to the host, even with payment you apparently “have no rights” so there’s that. Go somewhere clean and professional and don’t waste your time here.

I really recommend this place. Is amazing location. Nice view. It’s quite. The treat is super nice of Mona the owner. The clean Service is really good and often. You have all the facilities near. There are many spaces as a tv area, big balcony for ready work, Studio for yoga and play games and instruments are allowed. Big kitchen and organized. Nice atmosphere and people. ????
